so Through the build I`ve been posting feedback related topics in general discussions to get conversations on it and see second opinions and here's the list of feedback, I won`t add a huge amount of detail to the reason behind it because CCP has already read it but I will add a decent amount.
Small rail guns need a DD buff from all types STD-PRO, 150-300 DD buff is NEEDED, missiles are better AV weapons and that's just saddening, there's very few small railguns that have better DD then small missile turrets and small railguns are meant for DD.
small Compressed Blasters need a 3.0 DD buff so they can match Scattered blasters in DD, Scattered blasters take the pros of the other blasters but their con`s are PG/CPU and accuracy but they manage more DD then Compressed blasters, Compressed are useless as the 2nd best DD when they should be = or the best.
Flaylock operation skill book needs a nerf, atm its +5% BR per lv and it needs to be nerfed to +3% BR per lv, I say this because if it was nerfed to +2% it would be to far, 10% BR nerf should be enough.
vehicle triage modules have a few issues in mechanics, I`ve gotten used to it and its not that bad but I would like to see it easier for players who don`t use it daily to be able to use them so here's a few issues and suggestions:
issues: solid objects that block the power line sever the link and it doesn`t reactivate after but the module keeps going, if you exit the range of the lock on then the power line cuts off due to range and won`t re attach if you re enter the zone but the module keeps going and over all they seem like they need a buff because they sue an entire slot and do just a little more better then boosters but considering the tasks and hassle are they better?
suggestions: this will allow a slight buff and fix issues, any vehicles and installations in the radius are healed even if there are multiple, they are credited to the same max amount of HP / pulses but when the module timer ends the power lines are cut off, this will mean that if an object blocks the path it will re attach and if you leave the zone then re-enter it will start healing again, this also provides the supportive buff to it that should be there, if 2 tanks take the risk of touching each other they both can be heals at once, it also makes it easier in A2A heals that can be a pain to do to fellow pilots. do note these issues come from a pilot`s perspective and not a LAV driver`s.
the state of DSes is hard to argue because we only use 3 turrets, 2 racial DSes and 2 roles that max at STD, plus modules range from STD-ADV and some are questionable if they are AVD or PRO so I find myself stopping myself if something's need a buff or not but there is an issue none the less, we need STD-PRO vehicles and all the races by the end of the year, DSes/LAVs 9and a very few amount of tanks) with no doubt with future intentions or not need WP for team support actions and here's some feedback and requests on those subjects:
per trooper spawned in by CRU the pilot or driver gets 25 WPs with a max of 600 WP that resets every 10 minutes, so if you go with that the full battle the max you can gain is 1,200 WP but that's 50 spawn ins so the driver or pilot would deserve that.
per hostile trooper scanned by vehicle or equipment scanner +5 WP, +10 WP for a LAV or MAA scanned, +15 WP for every HAV scanned with the max of 200 WP every 10 minutes. Scans don`t count if they are already located.
for every 100 HP heals with a RRS or a ST (vehicle triage modules) +15 WP with a max of 600 per 10 minutes, say you heal 10k HP worth of tanks then you get 1,500 WP per ten minutes, now that's a really big number for 10 minutes but this is the best team support and it deserves that chance. I think PVP crashing damage need to be removed to stop exploit of this and suicidal ramming, that fixes a few issues.
request wise, Marauder DSes, this has 2 turrets like most DSes and has the "heavy feel" so it isn`t a light haul but its starter base HP is high, pilots have been asking for more HP and this gives us a few options, we can have a Logi DS and stack shields or go with a marauder, add what we want and a CRU and have similar effects. it also makes sense to have a DS to take hits. Another thing is all DSes get there starter resistance placed in the nose and belly, even at STD these things are a bit weak. also if non role DSes can have a heavy, medium and light frame selections (again, no role bonuses on those). Another is a support DS that has no turrets but allows 1 passenger per side (the middle passenger) to use his or her own weapons, the DS has a good all around stats but should allow the use of 1 heavy module with a little PG or CPU help (so pretty much same modules but 1, either ti be a shield extender or ST it have enough PG or CPU to make it a heavy module).
I know Plasma Cannons need a buff but I don`t have any feedback on stats to suggest how to do that atm.
helmet cam / FPV on DSes needs improvements, the DS hologram needs to be more of a 3D shape to show tilt (forward backwards tilt) and altitude bars added. other improvements to both FPV and TPV is that by holding down the square button it focuses the camera on the last object you hit or was hit by, this would look particular cool for DSes but can be added to all vehicle.
a vehicle module that's supply's ammo and vehicle triage modules that do the same as suggested above but for troopers. |
