I haven't told anyone I know about Dust because in it's current state it is pretty ******. I do believe that CCP can fix it if they get their act together. |

Then I tell them it's extremely deep with a serious time commitment attached. Oh, and I tell them to watch my New Player's Guide videos before they do anything. (Shameless self-promotion) I would tell them to make an account for the passive SP then come and play in a month or two because right now this game isn't that great. |

I normally say to play on one account and let another accrue SP passively. The first account is more of a "trial and error" account to see what role they're interested in. Funny thing is a lot of the new players I've played with really like the game. Veterans are the ones with the issues because they have higher expectations. Most new players see a free game as something that shouldn't be very good at all, and to be honest, Dust really isn't that bad of a game. People are just so immersed into the game's politics and development that any move CCP makes that they don't agree with turns into another reason Dust is a failure in their eyes. My biggest complaint is the hit detection sometimes. I've missed a lot of charged scrambler shots to bad hit detection. I do believe CCP can fix the problems and make this game awesome though. Otherwise I wouldn't be here. |

Otherwise I wouldn't be here. I asked around and it seems that SCR's have their random bullet spread increased when charged. Wait what there's random bullet spread! That needs to be removed. No shooter should have random bullet spread. I believe that's one of the reasons MAG failed.
Seriously I've been here for a year and have never experienced random bullet spread on any weapon. |
