I dont need one, but want to know why its such a horrible thing in this community. Just because someone wants a respec doesnt mean they messed up their sp.
I mean god forbid someone wants to try something new with their sp ie: suit, weapon, vehicle. Without playing for half a year to do so, someone just explain so i can be reasonable and attempt to understand where youre coming from. |

I've come to the conclusion that it's basically just EVE players that are against this, but I could be wrong. Something about principles in a game that encourages you to lie cheat and steal  |

Frankly, I believe this game should still be in bata, and that respecs should be bi-weekly so people would actually be encouraged to test weapons and fits. |

Consequences and choices, and providing lasting meaning behind them. Agree or not the fact that this keeps coming up is a testament to the fact that the method is effective. It's not so much Eve players in the end though, it the CCP mindset. |

It's really depressing and telling that this question is repeatedly brought up without any prior thought or research done into the matter and the snarky hyperbole of the second paragraph already discourages people from taking the effort to explain their point of view on this complex issue all over again.
With that said if you actually are interested in the other perspective check out this thread and posts #19, #26 and look at #14, #96 in particular and adress the points raised or at least ask specific follow up questions so we atleast don't have to start from zero yet again. |
