while i do agree with this, i would like to ask. How many times have you seen a logi revive someone in a game? or drop an ammo box for assaults to use? Now i ask, how many times have you seen a logi at the front of the battlefield plowing through the enemy and spamming 3 uplinks in one place? I would have to say Ive only seen a logi revive someone once every day in one match within the 30 matches i play in one day. I would love for logis to do what they are supposed to do and pick people up, repair teammates and drop ammo...not capturing objectives and kill as many players as possible. I am up for giving logis speed if that means removing a few of their power slots.

also nanite pokers are just that, all they do is poke the person you are trying to rez, its hard enough trying to find that spot where they had been killed at (not the actual body) (but point of death) then if you do the actual animation of poking some one half the time they don't get up. |

why should scouts be worried about people stacking damage mods? arnt they supposed to be next to the red line camping? or "sneaking" behind the enemy to take objectives?
OHHHH or are you talking about the cheap shot gun scout that I could never hit in my old heavy suit because the turn speed was so slow when looking down the sights and he could actually run faster then I could turn.
heavy suits just need a buff in general, why complain about other suits when you have the heavy suit who has a max of 2 high slots. glad when uprising came out I planed to spec right into a shield tanking heavy... oh wait some one probably complained about the old Type-2 heavy |

As someone that plays Logi in a support role I feel the need to chime in. Blocking damage modifiers doesn't sound like a bad idea, won't affect me in the slightest but would likely hurt Assault Logi. Slowing me down however would be devestating, as it is I have a lot of trouble keeping up with my squad. |

how would you feel if you had 1H 1L slot removed, had 1 extra equip slot and ran faster? |

Psychologically people are less likely to give up something, even if everything is relative to each other in this game, meaning a loss is no different than a gain. Logis are showing the same in regards to to not giving up their unmatched versatility to match any other suit in its functionality to change on their whim.
An easy solution to this would be to give the other suits one built in active module that can be accessed without wasting time pulling out the item and without needed an equipment slot, while logis get to keep their current versatility.
Heavies- Active Hardeners- % damage reduction for X Seconds (better #s than what you can get as an equipment item of the relative rank)
It would allow turtles to cross open terrain without dying, to function as a vanguard / sponge, etc. Considering that heavies don't get an equipment slot yet this skill makes sense for them, having active modules on racial heavy dropsuits makes the most sense.
Scouts- Cloak- Self Explanatory (since its not an equipment item, it means you can have your weapon out and ready which would be the scout cloak built in advantage to their cloak vs an equipment cloak.
Assaults- Neuro-stims
Not yet in the game as an active module, but it would be a 5 min duration that would increase your turning and aiming speeds, with your reticle being able to move faster than any one else (which definitely equates to much needed killing power). The science behind this is based upon boosting your biological processing unit (your brain) to allow the brain computer interface to operate faster.

I know that reducing the logi speed would also help prevent logis working as scouts with extra equipment slots. Considering that Logis are carrying more than Assaults equipment wise its also not an absurd idea. Due to my earlier active module solution is unlikely to happen in this era, this would be what I would vote for. |
