What we need to balance everything is for everyone to have a personal ship in space to call in an orbital, make it so they can call it down once every two minutes, just to make it fair, then we would not have to worry about what is stronger |

Ah, that reminds me of good old Ace Combat 3.
When you unlock the X-49 Night Raven, you also get the Orbital Satellite Laser which you can equip instead of missiles.
Tap O to instantly vaporize anything with a clear line of sight to the sky. |
