Yeah, cause assault rifles in real life arent good at anything and no military in the world uses them as an all around weapon
And hell its not like other weapons do what it does better, Scrambler rifles certainly dont take shields down faster, SMGs dont eat armor for breakfast, sniper rifles dont out range it at all, it has a much better headshot bonus than the scrambler pistol
I could go on

Granted a few weapons like the laser rifle dont match up but thats due to them being overnerfed from last build and underpowered, not from the AR being overpowered

Swear to god, so many of these posts from people that spec into niche weapons and expect to be good at everything

The automatic weapon that throws little slugs is the baseline of every FPS, they are meant to be all round decent at everything. Unfortunately all the other weapons fail to be grand at their specialty/style.
