For starters remove the nerfs on weapons and suits
Secondly make a pg/cpu limit on the warbarge. By that I mean every person joining a match be it pc or public brings to the warbarge a set amount of pg/cpu based on they're skill level that they can use to bring a dropsuit setup or 2 of they're choosing into the match for beginners, and as they're sp grows they can bring more pg/cpu to the warbarge to pick from. this would allow for some choice but not a huge variety of suits to choose from like people seem to have... Be able to pull out a logi or heavy assault or scout sniper/shot gunner whenever they choose rather than being confined to a couple of classes per match.
Third thing is limit the amount of heavy's that can be in the match to 2-4 per team, whichever number the community chooses. this would allow them to be tanks like they were before, where they need a good squad to coordinate to take them down, without allowing them to be to numerous to control without other heavy's.
Just a thought, but i figured I'd throw it out there to the sharks, eat away |

and yes the tac ar is good for 1 or 2 kills if you have your proficiency all the way up and are using stacked damage mods in which case ya its only a few bullets, try using it with only lvl 1 proficiency and you'll get the jist of the feeling of dumping an entire magazine into a logi and still having to finish him off with an smg, its the reason why i've switched entirely over to scramblers and have been happy ever since.
and godin your all knowing huh? your a troll, i've never heard of you before you start trolling my first 2 posts on this forums, and now i see why MOST of dust stays away from it
CCP if you actually listen to these people i fear for your company, as i will not be a patron long with people like him in your ear. |

Dust needs a hell of a lot more RTS, but the war barge is not where they are most needed.
my point was for it to carry into battle... not just in the war barge... it would require teams to use actual tactics to take down heavies again, not just 1 scout with a shotgun. as well it would make teams have to stick together to support the heavies up front. it would force new players to learn the team tactics quick as well or get crushed until they do. you know... actually make a "tactical" game tactical... and i know these tactics still do apply in pc because both sides use them, but in public matches they fail for the most part not due to dieing but due to as soon as your squad hacks 1 area, the blueberries are letting them take another... getting people into the same swing of tactics from round to round should be more important i would think
and having a cpu/pg limit from the war barge to the battle would make people think hard about what suits they want to wear, and its maybe not the answer, but making the heavies like they used to be but limiting the amount on the battle would be nice, but how could it be justified without having a cpu/pg limit?
is it right that from 10 feet away a basic breach shotgun will kill a proto heavy with complex shields and armor in 3 shots? doesn't seem right to me |
