well there is major separation between dust 514 and eve online. Yes they can provide orbital strike for us to devastating effect. but other then a support role for dust 514 eve online is on her own. which does not improve relations between eve capsuleers and immortal mercs. maybe if corps owned battle barges and or they were towed behind eve pilots or eve pilots with 2-3 squads with or with out drop ships ready to enter a defended out post or even shoot the mercs out of a cannon to drop in to combat. that whole Normandy feeling of being blown apart before getting to the fight is awesome. eve pilots doing more then just the orbital strikes. dropping turrets to a engineers desire CRU drops. the battle could have so much infrastructure and more then just supporting roles. the corporations contracting their mercs to eve pilots for company isk a dependence on one another a bond . more elements of cooperation between dust and eve to further each other . the mercs build their names the eve players spread theirs the potential is there and is a possibility. |

Ughh... what?
As for deeper integration, CCP doesn't want to do it (yet) cause they don'rt want to upset EVE players... most of which hate us, so yeah, it's the EVE sides fault  |

How about CCP focus on Dust 514 actually functioning properly before worrying about it's connection to Eve. |

Ya man lets work on Eve connectivity when I cant even jump a 2 foot edge or aim over a railing without bouncing up and down or framerate taking a dump when there is more than 2 people shooting.

Ugh.
No, it isn't.
A majority of the EVE players I've come to know over the last 5 years actually want further integration just as much as we do.
The issue is not rushing it and irreparably breaking both games, which is why CCP is taking it slow, just as they should be. |

Im sure its on ccp's to do list, but I also think the focus needs to be on fixing and furthering advancing dust 514 game play. |

Then it's a minority, but you can't deny that there's EVE players who think Dust is a waste of time and resources. |

The 'barge' isn't like those things you see boats towing in the harbour. This is more like a giant warehouse with rockets, life support, and (maybe) some guns. |

i understand the barge but the problem with getting into merc battles eve players are not being deeply affected nor are dust players several dust and eve players were speaking of boarding enemy capsules and lol hitting the little red button theres potential of devastating use of mercs with eve pilots but will we only see the light show with low eve cooperation if you ask me theres grand potential maybe even space station battles offering dusters the ability to directly engage eve ships towing up a battle barge ready to release her mercs upon them yes a long way and probly never but hell id donate my salary for such improvements to the combat scenarios mission based priorities coming to light eve pilots want more direct influence maybe drone support would be nice who knows a compliment of possibility is dust 514 |
