After hearing much about the original skirmish, how there was more team work involved and how it felt more like a battle much rather than two floating city's just popping rockets at each other. Well i though to myself.... why dont you just add it back on because you already created it, and imagine how much the newberries would like it!!!!
And for new features for the MCC
- Make it player controlled (squad that hits 2500 points first) to some extent(if they get to close to the enemys Null cannons it would automatically lock onto them and do double the damage).
- Shouldnt have 0% resistance to everything other than the null cannons. (Kinda like saying an aircraft carrier wouldnt be effected by 30mm AT rounds just because its big)
- Should be given new weapons like lasers and rails to make it look like its actually doing a significant battle with the other MCC
- MCC should be able to do airstrikes when a player or squad is given enough points; and im not talking about warbarge i mean like AC-130 style where its circling that objective and bombarding it with laser missile ect for sometime(MCC missiles should be able to lock onto HAVs, and fire cluster bombs via rockets at infantry) .
-Make the MCC board able by the enemy team, make it where they can turn off its shields, damage the on board weapon system computers and for last make it where they could make the MCC shutdown and fall but this hack must atleat be 2 minutes and all the players who's MCC is being hacked will be given a distress call and a countdown until the hacks complete (Maybe the enemy shouldn't be able to place a mobile spawn while on hostile MCC)
-Give the MCC an AA weapon system to fight against bombers and DS's that want to board or destroy it.
-Squad commanders should be able to give any squad orders on anything from the MCC NAV computers
- And the MCC needs to actually have a complex inside not just a little parking garage you skydive from and i mean a place, for targeting computers, the bridge where you could watch the entire battle with precision, a hanger bay for bombers, drop ships ect, and a bar for AFK farmers.
Add your thought guys and im pretty sure this would increase teamwork and game play substantially C.C of the P.

The reason CCP made regular weapons useless against MCC is because players back in skirmish 1.0 kept making the battle too short by focusing fire on the approaching MCC. |

Like battlefront 2 Spcae battles, you could sabotage an MCC from the inside rather then killing it from the outside this gives us a Vehcie free enviroment and a use for DS |

Great stuff. CCP said they will be bringing back skrimish 1.0 but more ballanced and better. Perosnaly that should've been the game mode that PC battles fight in cuz it makes sense the defender and the attacker. Hopefully they add these things that you just metioned that can also effect the battle. Right now much of the dust gameplays is just run and shoot who ever you see, which doesn't add a lot of room for tactics. |

ha, back on Chromosome the enemy team took all but one the null cannon and so i had to roll my Goon from the battle and fire upon the enemy's MCC's critically damaged hull. And i last shotted it and got no points :( ......why CCP?!!!!!

You're thinking of Battlefront 2142.
Those titan battles were my favorite part of that game. As far as I was concerned that game only had 1 game mode, titan mode, and I loved it.
I do hope in the future MCC's become purchasable assets with larger interiors, and the ability to internally sabotage.
Also get rid of the red line, and instead introduce a "yellow line", that displays the effective ranges of the MCC guns, that will lock on and target anybody within their range. (they take time to lock on, but effectively hit like a precision strike) the kicker being that there is only so many of them (For example 4) and that they -can- be taken out (much like the titan.)
Taking them out is hard, since they are heavily shielded and take nearly no damage from rounds fired from outside the yellow line. (AKA they ignore shots from range X+) Removing them would also take the ability for that team to perform precision strikes (not OB, and thus the precision strike level of damage from them.)
Also... well I have alot of dreams for what MCCs should be able to do... one day.

Purchasable MCC's would be great, imagine playing skirmish 1.0 with two MCC's that are repeatedly bombarding the enemy from all points and taking out the Null cannons.....basically an overload of destruction!!! |
