We all know about the infamous SP sinks of these Tier 1 skills. It might not seem like a lot but it adds up and we get nothing but an SP sink..
So for our ground teams have 3 T1 skills.
1.) Dropsuit command: So you need to unlock this skill to use dropsuits, makes sense but then we don't get any bonuses for it.
Lvl 1 gives you access to medium, lvl 2 gives you light and lvl 3 gives you heavy. Heavies here kinda get the shaft. They have to spend to most to get access to just the heavy frame and honestly get nothing for it.
My suggestion is give the dropsuit command skill back its passive profile damaging skill. Even if its 1%(heavies would thank you) make it worth our SP!
2.) Dropsuit upgrades: Here is another skill that is useless, but makes you spend even more then Dropsuit command should you want biotic upgrades among other fine and useful skills.
My suggestion is give dropsuit upgrades skills a passive boosts to scan radius or maybe a shield/armor buff, since this skill is needed to access the full potential of our suits. It would make sense that we would get a to boost to something useful.
3.) Weaponry: Yet another skill that makes no sense at all. You need to lvl this skill to unlock an operation skill, then you need to spend more sp unlocking a side/light/heavy operation skill and again you need to level that skill up to unlock an weapon.
The side/light/heavy skill give a passive reduction to CPU great move CCP!
My suggestion is make weaponry give a passive reduction to PG and drop the optimize skill for each weapon. I'll be Honest thats all I can think of for this skill since they already buffed the weapons after taking away the 10% buff.

The nice thing about eve is that every skill you train by every level gives you some sort of incremental bonus.
Exactly. In EVE all skills give you something.
