Everything that shoots to you, within the range of your minimap, should appear. No matter how your profile is dampened, you shoot, you are spotted if you are in range. Same for vehicles, LAVs are invisible.

Isn't also weird that a MCC can't detect (that ship should have scanners right?) a HAV,... on a map (even I can spot it on the map-overview)? TacNet technology is soooo 2000. |

I don't know if the MCC should spot HAVs, surely the infantry should do it, but i'm talking about sound directions, if there is a blue shooting, you can see him and see his direction on the minimap, when there is an enemy behind you, he have 2 advantage: 1) surprise factor 2) radar invisibility i suggest to eliminate the radar invisibility after his first shot, if he wants to surprise enemy from the back you already have the surprise factor, he can count on. Maybe not the arrow, only the red dot, you don't know what is his direction but you know he his there.
Instead profile dampening should increase if you do not move. |

In Eve-cannon, the bigger something is, the worse its sensors are. I think this is a definite problem for vehicles. For suits though, I'm fine with not having that CoD mechanic of shooting puts you on radar automatically. I think it should lower your dampening. I also think dampening and scan precision should modify the sensitivity to visual spotting (but this is a whole other topic). |

I agree that some tweaks need to be put in place to increase visibility on the tacnet. Increases need to be made for visibility of enemy vehicles. If I can hear it in my headset, I should see the lav on my tacnet, same with a tank. They are huge in comparison to a scout suit and I can even see some of those fine but there should be no way an lav can get within a full lav length of a merc and not be seen on tacnet, they are too loud and it stands to reason that they would have emissions electrical or otherwise that would show up on a scanner. If it is show as being in a general area somehow rather than a definite spot this would be an improvement as hearing isn't the same as seeing. This would be a basic sonar addition to the tacnet and allow a merc to get an arrow pointing behind them if an LAV is on the enemy team and rolling up behind them out of sight, giving a chance that they may move in the correct direction rather than jumping into it. |
