Nah basically I'm a relatively new player, I just got in on the open beta at the end of January because of a reddit post. I stayed because I'm invested and I don't have BF3 (been told it's a solid shooter but lacking dusts vision/depth) or TLoU. I think new players are not sticking around long enough to get invested. It's daunting to try and understand the whole fitting/sp/isk system. I can only immagine a new players frustrations not being able to kill anyone or anything once out of the academy (which is 2 soon IMO). Even just the fact that you must enable voice to be on, and turn push to talk off, know/find a channel with people voices on it, and select it and try to get a word in edgewise? It's tough. There needs to be a channel for newbro's. one that CCP calls like "Click Here for Help!" and it's just a mess of newbro's getting help. Maybe the vets should populate it when they can. Each time you get a squad up (or solo) check the channel and make sure someone is there to help people out, if they are then no worries you can go back to squad/team/corp chat.

I can tell you're newer because you don't know the personalities on here like the obvious vets do. As an imperfect once said, or at least sort of what he said: "I love this game and I want to this game to succeed so we can stomp everyone." That's exactly how I feel. I bought Aurum tanks to support CCP in making this game better but it just gets worse. You rarely see any of the really old guys posting anymore and it makes me sad. Like, General Crowd and Bobthecakeman, two of my favorite ppl to play with and some of the best tankers don't even play anymore. Nobody with over 11 mil SP sees the point to grinding anymore. I show up to the daily PC battle but that's about it. I mean...I try. I have an salt in the instant battle academy just to teach new players how the game works and I help out every random who asks for it and any tanker who wants to know a good fit gets all of mine. I post intelligent things on the forums about everything from mass drivers to player renention, and about how AV is fine but we need tanks. I'm just getting tired of it all. I want this game to succeed but I feel like CCP doesn't listen to me. Like, hate on the imps, but if CCP listened to them we'd have a damn good game right now, but instead they listen to nooblet fanboys who insist the game is perfect. Anyway, troll on.

You dont seem overly concerned about any play style but yours. You seem biased. +1 , I been telling him this for awhile. Tanks been OP for a long time.
