That is why I am going to tell you a little secret about the game.
You don't even need to AFK for money. All you need to do is go into a match... don't even bother to spawn in on the ground, just wait until you are about to be kicked for not deploying and hit leave battle. Wait a few minutes for the win or loss and then check back to your wallet you can make anywhere from 10,000 to 50,000 isk without ever firing a bullet.
You can make a little more money by just launching into a match and dropping some drop uplinks or some nano-hive and just leaving too, usually that nets close to 75,000 even on a loss.
Maybe just maybe, you should have responded to at least 1 of my questions about the lag and the way the game works CCP. |

FYI: try it out for a day, yesterday I made close to 20 million without ever loading into a match past the intial spawn screen and didn't have to waste my time sitting there for the whole match. My KDR didn't drop and my Win/Loss actually went up.
I guess you missed the opening statement... I am going to tell you a LITTLE secret.... |

Oh, tis no exploit, the way it was explained to me is that it is working as intended. |

And has since the first build been throwing players into already over matches with no chance of spawning or even doing more than taking the loss for your important stats..... no I mean 1 of the only stats shown or rather displayed to the player (which for a finished game seems surprising that I have no way of knowing what my total assists are... how many tanks I have blown up etc... tough to write your own story when you can't even say what you did)
Surprising would be saying how easy it is to get back into the same match over and over again even bouncing between the modes.
Your concern for me is duly noted, but fear not, I am playing my old sega on P-i-P, DUNE and Shining Force 2 and SEGA CD (I forgot how huge that thing is, but my home theater upconverts it and it looks 480p ish) games.... which are turn based rpgs... all though I did lose a few sand harvesters to worms when the dust froze me going into a loading screen after a fresh restart. |

Now you are starting to get to the crux of the issue.
How much of the in-match monies is going to people not even there? I will call it ewoking the game instead of other players and their corps.
AFK-ing is one thing, but this a whole-nother level of bullplop. |

https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=88978 is my post about the LAG, you must have been doing laundry to have missed a chance at posting there about the lag I associate with playing versus someone 6000 miles away from me, match after match.
And you completely missed the point of this thread here, so give it another read, I know I pointed out the problem while making you think about it, it is a brain teaser.
Clue: It was how Richard Pryor got caught robbing the company he worked for in Superman 2.
Clue 2: (in case you are too young for that one) It was the thing they tried to do in Office Space with the computer virus. |

Okay since this went way over the heads of most of the people bothering to reply here.
16 players on each side = the total payout for the match
If a lot of people join and leave one side ='s less money for that side - paid out at the end of the match.
If A squad of 6 has a player or 2 that doesn't make it past the loading screen and has to triple beep their ps3 to quit; and the squad decides to back out to pick them up; that is 120,000 isk minimum taken from the payout.
Secondary Problem: The players forced to restart their PS3's to a triple beep, automatically get a Loss or a Win added to their totals.
Which brings me to my current question..... can anyone answer it..... why did CCP keep the Team size at 16? And the squad size at 6? Seems to me that it should be 18 vs 18....otherwise why is 1 squad on a team only made up of 4 players.

Nope you still are not reading the whole thing, pick and choose what you want to read.
Simply put, even if you don't make it in to a game... froze at the loading screen or booted due to some random disconnect issue on ccp's or the client side or more likely the psn, you still get a win or loss without boots ever touching the ground.
The highest amount I got for not doing anything is currrently 110,000 didn't even get a chance to spawn in, when I triple beeped my stuck on loading screen ps3.
So even though you may back out of obvious pub stomp before 1:00 minute is left on the warbarge load in you are still charged with the loss; and depending on how your team did you can end up with anywhere from 25,000 to 120,000 isk. Since this money is coming from the match and I didn't play, it ends up making the people actually playing less money.
Leaving is for when you see 12 squaded up members on the other side an know that the complete randoms you have with you are not up to the challenge, or you faced the same enemies the match before... there is no reason to fight them again so soon.
Which brings us to the another question, what happens to the system when a player has 10 or more battles in the wallet at the same time. |
