Codex was the build when I really got into dust; I played in the builds before that, but I had no idea what I was doing (btw, laser rifles were released in codex)
And DAMN was codex imbalanced. That was when dropships couldn't be touched (yet destroyed everyone they flew above), and ARs had scopes, no recoil, and the accuracy of a laser rifle.
There was also the testers' tournament in codex, which (looking back ) was complete bullshit anyway since it was just a competition of who uses the OP stuff more (the winning corp was supposedly using 2 godmode gunships as opposed to the other team's 1)
You also forgot that when corps first came out, eve players could join and transfer a ridiculous amount of ISK, so CCP ended up patching that and doing an ISK/asset reset on everyone. |

Hey... that would make some killer PVE...... just take the ambush oms and add hundreds of killer lamp posts we could shoot......... THEN I COULD FINNALY EXACT MY REVENGE ON THOSE FORSAKEEN LAMP POSTS!!!!!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA PVE scares me, thinking of how accurate installations are. A railgun installation recently shot my scout out of the air when it jumped. |

Almost forgot! Nova knives weren't sidearms until codex- they used to just be included as your regular melee. |
