i love these things most of the time... but every once in awhile they make me cringe... throwing them up against walls is an instant fail, they just dont work that way, it cuts the damage done to an enemy standing next to the wall by 2/3rds even though they're well into the kill zone... it seems as if when it explodes against the wall, the splash only goes up and out, ignoring its trajectory and the fact its hit a wall, as well i've also ran into the "forgetful" grenades... they just fail to detonate... and considering thats real money spent on these items its kinda fustrating. |

and how so are they way out of line? 1 direct impact on a scout is a kill, and 3-4 feet away does not kill the scout, 2 direct on an assault is a kill, and 2 doesnt even kill a heavy, only takes his shileds and 1/3rd of they're health normally, and considering you only carry 2 rather than 3 already, it seems kinda nerfed already, it takes alot of luck and good placement to get more than 1 kill with fused grenades, if we're paying money for these why shouldn't it work well?
just because you get killed by these to often doesnt mean they should be nerfed, it means figure out a way to kill those people where the grenades wont get ya, ie above them or far away.
and mass drivers need a 911? i've seen people beast with mass drivers, mind you they were good with the mass driver but none-the-less, they never interested me but to each they're own... |

thats really everyones excuse for how bad they suck at this game?! is that everything needs to be nerfed and we need to just use paintball guns?!
i've only been playing this game for a bit over a month and i have 0 problem against grenades or av's. you want to know why? its because I LEARN FROM MY MISTAKESnot repeat them, if the enemy has good av equipment i quit using lav's/hav's and switch to just hoofing it, if the enemy is good with they're grenades i keep distance and use my scrambler rifle (f AR's they suck since the nerf).
i'm asking for peoples opinion on the explosion model used by CCP on this game, and how they think it can be corrected because it is not true to what it should be, besides the fused locus grenades are already nerfed compaired to every other grenade in the game EXCEPT the malitia grenade which does the same damage malitia just has a timed fuse and the same amount of grenades can be carried either way (2)
and realistically if you get killed by fused grenades its your own fault for getting that close to me, its a war game your the enemy and i'm a hornets nest, you'd better be ready for a fight comming at me, its not my fault yall can't figure out how to play a war game, and its NOT COD
people if your going to voice your opinions on wether or not to nerf something atleast have the experiance with the items to back up the statements you make, not just "o woe is me i get killed by this or that to much"... its common sense no? i'm saying that a payed for item is already faulty, and your saying nerf it more? screw yall cause your just some sore dead clones in my eyes |

wrong, fused locus grenades I use are for the sneaking shotgun scouts that with 1 shot from what seems like 15 feet can eat through a heavies sheild and armor and kill him with that 1 shot, or for that red clone that just makes it around a corner and a well placed grenade stops him from running away, i never use them unless its called for, i pride myself on accuracy and k/d on this game, its why i use the imperial scrambler rifle (ever since they nerfed the tac AR's)
fused locus grenades account for maybe 1/10th of my kills, how many of you people that have replied to this saying "nerf the fused locus grenade", have half of your kills from running clones down with your lav's? why not nerf the lav's and have them take damage from running people over? since we're in metal exo-suits anyways right?
like i said before if you get killed by a fused locus grenade its your own fault, its the great part of having a clone, you can always get smarter by learning from your past mistakes,
rather than nerfing it, maybe make a contact grenade free to play at lvl 3 rather than only lvl 5, where you would be able to carry 3 like all other grenades except malitia grenades AND fused locus grenades, which you ONLY CARRY 2(and both do same damage only difference is fused has no timer its contact) |

that blast radius isn't accurate imo it may say 6.0 but in my experiance more than 2 body widths of a scout away from the target and the damage is cut to a 1/4th which really does nothing to an enemy except waste a grenade, they're only truely effective as a direct impact weapon or right at the feet.
i've never used a flaylock or mass driver, they've never interested me, i've stuck to AR's and now the Imperial scrambler rifle since they nerfed the tac AR, the fused locus grenade TO ME is a last resort weapon that doesnt come to play much, but when it does it needs to, and when it just fails to detonate, or does redused damage because of the explosion mechanics its fustrating to say the least, now i KNOW this affects every explosive now thankyou its been so abundently made clear by yall and it affects everyone equally be them f2p or p2p, so you haters of p2p out there have really no reason to hate, it affects us just as much as it does you
still hasn't kept me from learning from my mistakes to be able to maintain a good k/d (1.49 and rising) with the help of my great corp and my trusty imperial scrambler rifle |

if your facing clones that panick when they see you, you should be able to figure out how to get one up on them... like aim for the head... i've stated multiple times how i use them, and how they are already nerfed in comparison to every other grenade in the game, they're exactly like the malitia except they explode on impact, which isn't a futuristic style weapon considering they've had impact detonating grenades since WW2, but they've always been effective. instead of crying about it, ask that they maybe make it so there is comprable f2p versions of them at lvl's 1 and 3 of the grenades
and btw if you drop a fused locus grenade at your enemys feet when they're right next to you it kills you too even if your wearing an advanced heavy with complex armor and shields (totaling over 1000 health/shield combined) try it for yourself, used improperly they're just as dangerous to you as they are your enemy |
