Hoping that you've noticed CCP, Most of the 'Big' named corps quit PC. Lag, Burnout, and the fact that the battles are all regular skirmish matches makes PC worth-less.
-Lag issues- We all know that LAG is one of the biggest problems of PC. I know it, you know it, we all know it. There really isn't a way to explain it other than FIX THE LAG!!
-Burnout- There could be a limit on how many battles can be fought in one day (maybe 5?). This would reduce the burnout of having 9 or more battles to fight. This also reduces the need for more players online. There were times where there was a battle at 17:50 then another at 18:00. That caused a whole scramble of people to find the necessary 32 people to fight. Not a very fun experience
-Skirmish- Since the battles are only skirmishes, It loses it's difference after a while. Make it a variety of battles to fight for a planet. Maybe the first initial attack/defend could be a skirmish 1.0. The attacker could push into the main infrastructure (by winning the match) and then the following day, have a ambush match INSIDE this HUGE infrastructure to kill of the remaining clones. It will bring back everyone's favorite game mode AND give attacker/defenders a more diverse way to play.
Those are some ways that could fix the existing PC, but what are some ways that it could be made better?
-Planets generating materials and clones- Corporations should be able to be a business. With planets generating materials (Iron, Copper, other EVE materials that I don't know of) Corps can participate without the intentions of being the largest empire. For example: Planet Jones170 is an Iron based planet. The corporation 'Skipper' wants to make tons of isk to pay its members. 'Skipper' decides to capture Planet Jones170. They capture it and sell the Iron that is produced to other mercenaries for better guns, suit, and so-on. In that example the corporation didn't want to have their name stamped on every planet, they just wanted to make money!
CCP, this kind of stuff will make PC much more fun than it is now. |
