these forums have three types of people: Trolls who are pissed at CCP for taking so damn long to deliver on what they promised, the rational thinkers who know what the game's fundamental flaws are and try to help CCP by making well thought out essays like the op, and then the fanboys that try to convince everyone that everything's OK. The first is annoying, the second could probably save the game, and the thrid is doing a really good job of preventing the second from getting their message through.

As a member of the second group, i can tell you that the OP cares more about dust than all the fanboys combined. Instead of simply ignoring the game's flaws, he acknowledges them and still keeps playing. Not only that, but even after watching CCP repeatedly say "oh, no, that's too hard. We'll work on that later". and hoping we just forget, he goes through all the trouble of writing this 7500 character essay that not only outlines the games problems, but presents solutions that actually work.

Whether you like it or not, he IS lthe champion of us all. What gives you the right to say otherwise?

I'd say I'm somewhere between the second and third myself, but you'll have others that say I'm straight-up fanboi.

When posters like I put up things like compliments, commendations, and generally positive material we aren't trying to "make everything look ok". Everything is ok. People like you and every other internet warrior are either extremely cynical and believe that any sort of positivism is blind and irrational, or somehow your pride is hurt and offended that someone would have a different opinion than you or ignores your personal gripes.

Being cynical and demanding isn't being constructive, its being negative and selfish. It isn't making you look more intelligent or experienced or deductive. YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANYTHING. You aren't a developer, or press, or shareholder. You have not made a formal investment. You downloaded a free game and you play it like the rest of us.

However, unlike the rest of us, you attempt as hard as you can to find fault in even the things that work instead of finding the things that do. You then refer to these things to reinforce your confirmation bias and then just keep telling yourself that you are reviewing and doing things like telling CCP to 'wake up ur not as gud as other gaems' you are providing constructive, meaningful feedback.

You aren't.

For some reason, everyone on the internet seems to believe that merely thinking about something entitles them to absolute directive over it. I hate to repeat this but it never gets through anyone's skulls...YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANYTHING...

Please, play the damn game, and try to have fun. Go and join a corp and gripe that you get pubstomped and then dominate the next game and meet some people and have some laughs. Then come back with a refreshed, educated arguement about things in the game you and your bros believe need to be addressed and weapons and things that feel imbalanced and nuances you aren't quite sharp enough to understand.

OR ALTERNATIVELY

sit in the MCC and make a fake corp name like "I HAET THIS LE GAME" and cry and complain and reprimand anyone expressing enjoyment in this neverending torture for you. After that get back on your crazy good gaming pc that's so much better than the ps3 in every way and put up some super constructive comment about how those people hinder the communication of problems with the game.

You could post better content about how you're gonna go over to Destiny when it comes out. Please oh please tell me what a brainwashed fanboy I am for not completely agreeing with you that satisfied people are just dumb.

I think for the longest time I was the 2nd type of poster I am very disappointed in uprising so I am fighting not to be the 1st type of poster I think if you are the 1st type of poster you should quit and if you are the third you should offer what you agree and disagree about someone's post instead of carrying the banner for CCP because you played EVE for 2 or more years.

PS: we all have to start looking at this game like it is a beta and we are all beta testers
