It seems like PS3 combatants can only do so much on the battlefield and the same things happen when we play. It would be amazing if PS3 mercenaries had an option to either be a pilot, or a solider. They could pilot their very own starship and can customize their weapons on their craft. I've seen the EVE players and their HUD to and it seems a bit unusual for Sony users to have the same HUD modifications, so I suggest that if all the controls that were regularly on the computer monitor were to be altered to the PS3 controller (i.e slip space jump, flight controls, weapon controls, module settings and 1st & 3rd view perspectives etc). And if this were to happen in a 3 month time period, that would be amazing. |

The VR system that CCP has designed would work well on a tv, maybe they could put that capability into the game but would we then have Eve Subs in VR for PS3 as well as the computer version? I'd love to use my rifter from my PS3 btw CCP |

Won't happen considering for the Rift to work properly the games need to be 60fps, it seems. Dust is 30 on PS3. Maybe in the future on PS4. But, even then, they have to keep it at 30 or else the players at 60 get too much of an advantage. |

I know you have to pay for EVE, but maybe if they could make EVE free for PS3 users, but have a limited amount of things to buy without Aurum. Kind of like Dust.

I can relate: basically he/she wants to be able to do more transstellarly.
The dust=eve relation is kind of non existing ATM. Eve peeps need to be able to help more in dust with motivation.
And likewise, one should be able to call in WB support in other forms than OB E.g. wb rail gun, wb bombs etc

Not destroy, but something like aurum, so CCP can still get income if players want to upgrade or buy exclusives and such

Because not every Dust player can play Eve unless you have a computer. And on top of that some people want to play EVE online, but simply do not have the money for it
All I'm suggesting is to make EVE online to connect to the PS3 gaming community so then Dust players do not have only one option and vise versa.
If Dust is such a massive online game, why not make it large for the rest of the Dust and EVE universe |

I'm not sure if you were watching the EVE community in 2011, but a major factor in the protests that some of them staged then were aimed at the idea of being able to buy things like special equipment or even Faction standings with AURUM. |

I'm not really saying to have exclusives using AURUM, but to have the same financial standings as if you were an EVE player This whole request is to have PS3 players have access to the EVE universe instead of being stuck on a planet being a pawn in a massive gaming multiverse |

I played eve for a bit after starting to play dust and the shear amount of things you can do are so much more then the day to day grind of sp in dust. I think it would be cool to have EVE ported to PS3 but it wouldn't be fair. yes im using fair for the first time and its not to criticize some one for using it. but it wouldn't be fair to the pc gamers who have put well since EVE first came out literally hundreds of dollars into it. 20$ a month. in eve yes aurum does exist but you can buy clothes with it, I think that's about all ive seen for sale. even sp boosters are made and sold by the PLAYER. so what exactly would counsel gamers buy? cant be ships or gear or else that would make it pay to win.
maybe giving counsel gamers access to small fighters that are first person and we fly them instead of the click, attack/fire. I don't fully support the idea but it could give it more of a mercenary feel. giving us the ability to fight a little in space and move around to different systems.
it would be interesting to see how 2 different systems ran on the same server, |

I heard it was a rumor and that lucasarts cancelled 3 projects developing battlefront 3 because the specifications were wrong. If anything i would buy battlefront, but i won't get my hopes up on the release of the game |

I wish that DUST 514 was more of a free roamer, instead of the fast paced shooter that it is now. i wish that it were more like EVE but not EVE. i want to be able to explore the universe and do PvE missions. I wish that dust was everything that happens on planets, instead of just wars. if dust is supposed to be the FPS equivalent of EVE, than i want to see exploration, PvE, missions. random encounters with rival corporations, and features (such as the titan) that take a LONG time to be able to achieve. Dust is fun, but it has so much more potential. i expected way much more from it. I hope CCP takes a look at this thread. because in dust, i hardly feel that im in "the ever changing persistent EVE universe" i feel that im playing battlefield 3. Here are some things i want for dust: The ability to catch a ride on an EVE ship and travel with it to where ever it needs to go. and maybe operate weapons, modules, or even pilot drones. and then when the ships spots a battle raging on a planet nearby, i can (hence the name, dropsuit) Drop down to the planet and aid my fellow soldiers. then when the battle is over. The eve ship could pick me back up, take me to a space station, and i can fit my dropsuits. rinse and repeat. thats what i want for dust 514 (and actually what i expected) So if CCP could look into this, that would be amazing. |

I have played on both the EVE universe and the Dust Universe and I really think more work is put into the EVE experience. Transferring the ability to pilot a space craft such as a frigate or a battlecruiser would be a game changing experience for anyone having the chance to do so. Whenever I boot up the Dust 514 game i notice how you can choose a profile and is set into your quarters. It would be amazing if you can proceed to the door at the far reach of your quarters to your room where it asks you to switch to EVE. Then you will be brought to a separate account. Finally, you are in an EVE universe where you can do whatever you want in terms of the gameplay. |
