In my tireful efforts to research the reasoning behind why Yawning is so utterly contageous I believe I may have stumbled upon the definitive reasoning behind the release of Uprising. The Developers have needfully dialed back on Core Gameplay Elements in order to provide us with the Seeds of the Future that is Foliage. These, at first glance, seemingly purposeless additions of Shrubbery littered about New Eden actually have a Hidden Value/Purpose in the Development of DUST 514.
While most of the Core Playerbase has been progressively & increasingly bored to tears it has been noted that the boredom has become far more widespread than initially noted. Even the "Fresh Faces" are beginning to almost contageously Yawn at the apparent lack of "Love" put into this Title. How wrong we all have been.....for with every subsequent Yawn we have been inadvertently providing ample CO2 to the Flora of New Eden, thus promoting an accelerated rate of Photosynthesis allowing the Shrubbery to evolve. Soon enough we will have provided enough of this invaluable resource to allow Bushes, Trees, and eventually an Oasis to Terraform within the confides of our scripted Universe, eventually rendering the necessity for a Dropsuit to inhabit these Worlds Null & Void as there will be an abundance of Oxygen present enabling the habitation of the Temperate Planets of New Eden without the risk of becoming Instant Clone-Goo.
When the time is right, when New Eden finally receives ample Flora & Fauna, we may very well see the Gods of New Eden devoting their time towards the nurturing of the Open World MMO aspects of DUST 514. Then, & only then, may they further develop our A.I. Protocols & manipulate our Chromosones to enable us to be more proficient in an FPS Environment. Shortly after (SoonGäó) we may see the Lesser Beings spawn from the Primordial Ooze of this Bountiful Environment with its Diminished Intelligence, roam free throughout the lands to provide us with the long awaited PvE Experience.
Planetary Conquest & Faction Warfare will finally have a purpose as these once Barren Wastelands will finally have ample Resources to entice the Inhabitants, Conquerors, & Parasites alike to hold Conflict & Resolution on & over these Avatar-esque mounds of bewitching beauty. We will finally have Evolved ourselves, these Immortal Soldiers, enough to figure out the Value of that which we fight for, thus enabling our formerly primitive existences to understand the concept of Interstellar Trading.
So as the Biogenitors, for the sake of New Eden.....GO FORTH AND YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWN!!!!! |

Im starting to suspect when CCP sell us the idea of "10 years of support"
What they really mean is:
Release a half finished game in a playable state, release the other half over a 10 year period.
