Oh I loved this one. The warbage looked like a Warbage and not like a lobby and the atmosphere was great in this trailer all the battle sounds makes you feel like you are in a real battle. The explosion effect on the player was just fantastic. And Clones with faces ^^ . I would love to get THIS game... |

Heh heh if that is true, this hurts CCP a lil bit more.... Go from one great looking product that was a lil bit laggy from the trailers to what we have now. A step back I must say. Go for Quality, not Quantity! I hope Unreal 4 is the way to go guys.... |

Damn, that trailer is glory; that sniper kill was really cool with the grunt the victim did. I think that game mode looked cool; insert here(wherever), move here, complete objective, and get out.
That clone we were watching almost died! The breathing was cool. |

Are you sure this is dust?
Automatic ARs used to have scopes, but so many people bitched about the camera-scopes "breaking immersion" and how stupid it was that no guns had ironsights that we ended up with ironsights when we didn't have them before.
So yeah, don't blame CCP for that one. |

This video shows how the invaders attack the defenders, they all move in the direction of the huge structure, the defenders are trying to hold the position, I think that's cool if there was a game mode with the same graphics and ideas as in the video, it would be cool! Without these obscure guns under the numbers 1234. It is a great capture of the structure, moving forward and breaking the security structure, that's how I see it. I just can not understand why you can not do that on video? Why do we now have all these stupid ideas? |

In my opinion the first ten seconds of this video is how every game should start. We should not simply be dumped into the spawning screen like some cheesy arcade game.
A fade in effect should take hold over the screen, location, system, region should dynamically be fed to us in a militaristic (24 with Jack Bauer) style, and we should move onto the map at the basic ground spawn as though we had just strode onto the battlefield after being deployed, from there we should just spawn from CRU/MMC's with their own animations.
EDIT- In all actuality all of the feature from this game need to be implemented in DUST- expensive drop suits, drop pods, really detailed planet and district maps, god the original trailer from two years ago with pretty average graphics has better looking gameplay and designs more befitting EVE than our current iteration. Even the basic and relatively boring dropsuit design seems to fit better than the current design. |

the structure in the trailer is in game and i think that some people have some how gliched to it. I remember read a post about it a while ago. They said it was a actual structure i believe but no one knows for sure anymore. |

I think what they talked about and showed up in 2009 sounds much better than what we have now. Also they mention that the trailer they show off before the game play is from a previous fanfest so they have been working on this since at least 2008. |

Sadly the answer is no.
CCP will never go back to their original vision either through stubbornness or because they "released" Dust in this iterations, they cannot pull a 180 even if the audience was begging for it.
Oddly enough such a move probably would end up making the game far more enjoyable and sustainable for the player base. |

Are you sure this is dust?
That map is hidden in the game itself. On the old plateu map you can see the shape of that building far in the background. Dropsuits are not looking like what we use today but there are similar features.
-Dropship modell same as the other caldari dropships -Gunnlogi modell still the same -MCC Cestus modell still the same -OMS feature like on ambush -Alarm sound when getting shot with swarms -orbital defence canon "sky fire canon" ive seen it in action on the old Sisi server. i suppose the skyfire cannon will be at some point our way to screw eve pilots over hard. Like at the end of a match over that compound the defending team wins the biggest ship will get insta popped. basically a doomsday fired from a planet into space.
Alot of the stuff beeing shown has beeing implemented to the game allready. The AR with scope is basically like the scrambler rifle. |
