Heavies: great for pubs, meh for PC.

Yes. Heavy suits are pretty bad in PC. Why would you use a heavy suit for point defence when a scout with a shotgun and remote explosives is so much more effective? |

Sorry, I was too busy being torn apart by assault rifles that are well out of my range and trying to damage the shields on these caldari logis, although I didn't get very far considering HMG's aren't as good against shields.
I guess I'll just sit at this point and defend it. Oh wait, if someone hits me with one flux grenade (which I'm way too slow to avoid) I've lost half my health and I'm now screwed.
Like I said, heavies are fairly average in PC, I can use them but 90% of the time I'm useless. |

I shrug off fluxes and those cal logi's melt after a quick fluxing and a few rounds from my HMG. Heavies will be fine once the hard range cap gets lifted. Be clever or be a meat shield for AR pros. I go neg in PC sometimes knowing I did my job by being the distraction or general annoyance., but I give my clones for the glory of IO & EoN!
850 armour? You are now so slow I can hit you with all three of my Core Locus grenades, although it would only take one and a few bullets to finish you off.
I agree they will be better when CCP removes the hard cap on range. |
