I came here for Eve as a functioning FPS, kinda disappointed, though not entirely put off.
^Pretty much this.
My past few sessions involved looking at my character, opening the battle finder, asking myself "What's the point?" and going to play something else. Seeing the trailer for games like Destiny opened my eyes to what this game is really missing: PVE and immersion. There's very little lore, no missions, bounties... nothing but four three game modes, memory leaks, bad mechanics, nerfs, bugs, and an increasingly meaningless grind with no distraction fun enough to take one's mind off of it.
I'll probably start playing again after a few months, but right now, I'm just burnt out and tired of all the core issues that seemingly are being ignored for new bells and whistles. |

Except that they don't listen to any of us, and I doubt they listen to the CPM either. If you want any indication, look at the how many things they tried to fix that weren't broken in Uprising. Now that they want to be more transparent, things are going to get ugly now that we have a bunch of squeakers on here, looking for a F2P CoD. Look at the rise in nerf HAV, shotgun, and Fighter Jets topics in the feedback section. |

Even if that's the case, CCP still has the final say on balance. Unless CCP Blam! suddenly became a CPM member, the PG nerf on all vehicles came from the developers. Unfortunately, we don't have a dedicated pilot on the CPM to represent that portion of our community. Even if we did, I doubt that it would matter. I'm waiting for the new anti-air HAV to be called Segaris and Surya. |
