imagine 2 mcc's locked together via 2 walkways while floating above ground.
skirmish:
each mcc has 2 control points. engineering and control room
engineering controls mcc damage control control room controls the mcc primary weapons.
the aim of this skirmish is to take out the enemy mcc. a team does this by maintaining their own damage control and weapon systems while disabling the enemys.
this map is an indoor/outdoor map. each mcc has a hanger bay to allow for dropships to be called and even tanks. each mcc will already have internal damage i.e walls missing to allow for vehicles to drive through them. dropships will be able to manouver anywhere around the outside of the mcc.
for ambush it would be much the same but without the capture points. |

I can imagine proto heavies holding back whole armies in those narrow walkways. |

Combine the idea of interactive MCCs with ground combat and you have what SWB III should be. The idea sounds fantastic, unfortunately, I'm not quite sure it fits with EVE's lore, though. A low orbit, floating building/command station as the setting instead of the MCCs may work, though. |

i know... fun right lol...
on a serious note it just spices up the game a bit more. a change from open ground warfare to some CQ battles. grenades and mass drivers and nova knives would be great here. with windows and holes in the ships then snipers could do their part aswell

well they are planning for fighting in titans in the future so mcc boarding is not out of the question especially as an instant battle arena |

But here is the thing. Those MCC are really small in comparison to the rest of the map. Titans on the other hand are literally the size of Manhattan in New York (about 15-18km long) and provide vast list of options and routes to choose from. |

well the scale of the mcc doesnt really matter from a gaming point of view its just an inanimate structure. there is no reason why ccp cant increase its size to accommodate a small size map. remember its going to span 2 mcc's across multiple levels of the ships through different size rooms and down many corridors even ontop of the ships. that along with multiple boarding walkways and vast ariel space would provide a large enougth gaming space. |
