yeah the problem is you think a dropsuit should equal a 40 ton machine. but in seriousness, solo drivers can be deadly if we know what were doing, if we have randoms in our small turrets, that basically still counts as 1 pilot and empty turrets, but if there are liable people in the small turrets then things go a different story. |

STD tank requires 3-4x the sp than it does to get into proto av, the way to fix this is make sp requirements for av increase and also the price so their is a risk to going up against a tank...
the infantry wont go for this therefore wont be implemented into the game, but anything that nerfs tanks will be instantly supported by infantry therefore gets implemented. |

so you agree that random blues in the 2 small turrets are useless? |

I base my argument on the fact that they cost twice as much as real tanks (Gunnlogo, madrugar) yet have nearly the same stats as the militia tanks maybe even a little less than militia tanks, therefore they are just expensive militia tanks. |

Iv rarely seen any enforcers being brought out, but when I see them they lasted up to 10 seconds against me only because of the delay between each rail shot |

Alright. OK. Fixed number games, 16 v 16. On the theoretical level a person in a tank should be more than the measure of two people not in one. This is because the tank is a 40 ton machine so it's alright. Let's say there is some other theoretical entity manned by one person. We'll call it a ROU. It is more than the measure of two people in tanks. This is because it's an 80 ton machine so it's alright. Does this now seem an unsatisfactory answer? This is about balance on a theoretical level before you chime in on the sad place of HAVs in current Dust. It's something that needs to be thought about if you want to seriously pursue balance.
and you automatically crying "NERF NERF" wont fix anything either. |

Let's do something new for a change then. that's what I tried to do with the thread where I called av and vehicles together but failed Well I'm fine with tanks receiving a buff although I do not think that it should take 2-3 fully dedicated AV guys (Which would be nearly impossible to get even 2 fully dedicated AV guys in a pub match) to take on one tank .(We would have to change the name of the game to Tank514 then) Now I think CCP should introduce the adv and proto HAVs plus a slight buff to the standard ones. How about we start here lol.
no, they need to just give is advanced and prototype tanks, that's when the balancing should occur between the 2 classes. 2 av should be the minimum, the fact that 1 av can solo any tank is ridiculous. |
