this game gets very boring when i am getting abused in the battlefield againt a all prototype team and you should put a battle mode where you can't use proto gear and a pregame map selection where i can choose my favorite map( the one i wanna play) instead of being put on random maps

Many People Have Suggested this, and these Ideas NEED to be Explored.
Excuse for not making these Matches include that the SP Bonuses would Unbalance it. But the Bonuses are Rarely for Something that would Make a Major Difference in a FireFight, Like Shield Recharge, or Dropsuit Profile.
This Way Newberries (Sorry If anybody Is Offended) can Play Newberries, and Older Players can also Join W/o wrecking the Match with Proto HAVs and Boundless HMGs *Shudders* |

They should put 3 options, militia mode: where u can only use militia equipment, elite mode :wher anybody can play including prototypes P.C. Should be in this mode, and a middle mode where anyone but prototype equipment or suits or vehicles |

They are working on matchmaking at the moment. I'm pretty sure this should make it better. I am opposed to the idea of splitting the community into 3 different modes based on equip. |

guess what? its possible to take down a proto suit if you are in a militia suit. I do it all the time when im saving isk so I can run my proto suits. the reason people get pub stomped is because the other team is most likely in squads and communicating with each other, a well organized group of militia gear only squads can easily take down a team of lone wolf proto suits. but most likely if they are running proto gear then they have worked out fighting techniques and are able to kill other players 1on1 or are able to take out a few before going down.
people need to stop thinking they are loosing because of the gear that they run and more on their own playing abilities.
also in those proto pub stomps there was probly one guy that kills you running proto gear and so now all proto gear HAS TO BE NURRRFFFFED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I suck and people are killing me. CCP please tell the red dot to stop shooting me.

I play with full proto squad in my miltia/adv gear and love crushing QQers like you all while coming out on top of the squad, then i remember, OH WAIT i can make a 500ksp alt and do the same thing, please l2p and stop clogging forums with unnecessary **** |

Sorry to disappoint you, but I use standard equip and am far away from being able to use Protogear. There is a simple problem with this: At max there are about 7000 people online in Dust 514 at the same time. These are already split between 5 game modes. (The 4 Instant match game modes and FW, not even counting the Academy here). Now you want to split the few players of this game even more with splitting each single one of these modes into 3 more. This would mean that there are only about 470 players available for every mode. You don't see a problem with this? And this is just simplified. In truth there are more people with standard equip than there are people with Proto equip. So you probably would have a hard time finding any proto gear match at all. The match making they are working on is more than enough.
Especially because the problem isn't that big. You can kill Protos with Militia gear. I for one don't get destroyed because there are many Protos on the enemy team, I mostly get destroyed then there is a full corp Squad on the enemy team, no matter how they are equipped. |
