There's ALLOT of competition to DUST and not just MMOFPS / FPS either. I'm talking about fun games in general. Look what happen when TLoU released, 2-3k people less playing DUST everyday.

DUST went from a high point of 9K people to an avg of 6-7k around when PC was released, now 4-5k people.

Imagine when BF4 comes out for PS4, 32v32 lobbies.

Or forget a FPS, imagine Watch Dogs, and games like The Witcher 3. AAA games that are way more fun to play than DUST and playing on next gen hardware. The only way DUST will be remotely successful is if it reaches PS4.

If it's on PS3 for another year, then lol...good luck to CCP if that's the case.

I was talking with a couple corpmates last night about Realm Reborn, which to me is the only competition dust will have for the next year or so. I still feel like as much fun as RR will be it will lack the community dust has. (No voice wtf?)

Destiny, sure we don't have much in the way of details yet, but I already have borderlands 2. Why wouldn't I just wait for the third one? I'm sure Gearbox will do the third borderlands title better justice than destiny does. (Get it? Destiny is a Borderlands clone. Which is great. But it wont keep me from Dust.)

Now The Division. I may leave for this. We will see how PvP goes. So far EVERYONE, including Dust seems to go the route of LoL Arena PvP. Will the console ever get a hardcore game?

There is a lot of hype over the new PS4. So far, I'm not impressed.

They will be back or they shouldn't have been here in the first place.. just my opinion I guess. I wont miss the cod kids. Maybe a few MAGgots but they have ****** attitudes anyways..

Hardcore fanboi get it right. Left EvE about fours years ago because it ceased to be hardcore, left UO about four years before for the same reason. Right now, Dust is the ONLY console game I see with hardcore potential.

Never got in on MAG as I was more of a PC gamer at the time. Never claimed it inferior, just pointed out the general crappy attitude of that community..

Those games are not hardcore, they are fast. There is a difference.

Borderlands 2 is done. They don't need a sequel, they are jst going to keep adding content. New expansions, new characters, new level caps. Pitchford said level cap will go beyond 61 in the fall. Seems to me there is no plans for a 3rd, they can just keep adding content to the one they have.
