Destiny, sure we don't have much in the way of details yet, but I already have borderlands 2. Why wouldn't I just wait for the third one? I'm sure Gearbox will do the third borderlands title better justice than destiny does. (Get it? Destiny is a Borderlands clone. Which is great. But it wont keep me from Dust.)
Now The Division. I may leave for this. We will see how PvP goes. So far EVERYONE, including Dust seems to go the route of LoL Arena PvP. Will the console ever get a hardcore game?
TL;DR
There is a lot of hype over the new PS4. So far, I'm not impressed.
Do you think any of those games could pull more then 6k players at peak hours with no competition? Hell do you think news about those games could pull more then 6k players at peak hours?
Dust can't.
and in a week or two i doubt it will pull 5k players.
The DOOM of DUST is now. And it is doing it to itself with none to blame but being a horrible game. |

You are delusional if you think CCP can keep this game going with only 4-5K (and dropping) players at peak hours for more then a few more months. (don't you EvE fan boys ever wonder why CCP won't tell us anything about future plans? Seriously connect the dots.)
You are also delusional if you think new players are leaving because they are "CoD kids" or as you imply some sort of inferior game player that is unwelcome and not desperately needed by CCP. |

Hardcore fanboi get it right. Left EvE about fours years ago because it ceased to be hardcore, left UO about four years before for the same reason. Right now, Dust is the ONLY console game I see with hardcore potential. Never got in on MAG as I was more of a PC gamer at the time. Never claimed it inferior, just pointed out the general crappy attitude of that community.. Edit: as far as delusional, the guy above me beat me to it.
ARMA is hard core Dust's Sp/leveling system and evaporating bullets and bunny hop running around in the open being carried by high Sp/gear is just stupid and horrible game design.
If Dust was a hardcore FPS then when you die you should be out of the match....hell make it real hardcore...when you die your character is deleted. That is hard core.
Please don't use that word again...you obviously are not hard core enough to understand it. |

Those games are not hardcore, they are fast. There is a difference.
