The most annoying part is not just the frequency but the length. Chinese new year is 7 days but as I recall devs were gone for 2.5 weeks. They did not come back til the middle of February |

Don't forget, they had to recover from starting the open beta. That was a huge task.
Also, they needed the extended break around Fanfest to pre-game(3 days) and post game(2 days of rehydrating)
Next up came the dragon boat festival, which required 2 days of CPR training, and 3 months of boat construction team building exercises.
When they finally release player trading in 2017 they are going to take six months off to celebrate finally getting that last MMO piece into place. |

- We pressed a key in the keyboard ( 1 week off )
- I turned the computer on ( 2 days off )
- I got dunk the other night ( 2 weeks off )
- I found the keys for the office ( 24 hours off )
- I have a day off yesterday ( 4 days off )
- CCP Anniversary ( 364 days off ) |

Definitely some Caldari mettling in there. But, as America strays away from its original conceptions, Id imagine we'll get to that point eventually. Been meaning to move to Norway for a longtime now.

oh i forgot to mention, chinese new years everyone is going home for at the most 3 weeks. like in beijing 80% of the population in beijing are migrant workers so the capital becomes a ghost city when all the workers head home.
so yeah that explains why the devs were gone for that long |
