lol you guys forget that us taiwanese & chinese also celebrate your new years and our chinese new years 
and we have over 100 days of public holiday put together. so when CCP shanghai ain't doing their jobs, blame the holidays. |

lol at first i thought CCP stands for Chines Communist Party since thats what it really is called in china. (mind you im not chinese, im taiwanese)

lol actually they only restrict the stuff they don't want the masses to know, i was there for two years and if you use the internet normally you cant even access wikipedia because its got stuff that the government doesnt want the citizens to know. for example the tiananmen massacre, student rebellion in the 80's, gov brought in army killed off a few hundred people. now anyone born after 1990 doesnt know that event happened.
hmmmm i might get banned if a shanghai CCP dev see's my post  if i disappear you know they got rid of me to keep things hush hush
so while i was there i just used proxy servers to bypass the great firewall of china :P

But, as America strays away from its original conceptions, Id imagine we'll get to that point eventually. Been meaning to move to Norway for a longtime now. But this isstraying dangerously close to political discussion so kittens.

oh i forgot to mention, chinese new years everyone is going home for at the most 3 weeks. like in beijing 80% of the population in beijing are migrant workers so the capital becomes a ghost city when all the workers head home.
so yeah that explains why the devs were gone for that long |
