*ahem* The title should veer you trolls away, but it probably will just make it worse. I'ma get on a soapbox over here, because I'm seeing some ... issues. I'm going to go through these one at a time; I'm sure some of you have noticed these problems yourself.
1. Occasionally, turret installations (such as the CA railgun) will, well, just stop. It still acts as if it's firing, with the muzzle flash and heating, but it's not actually firing anything. How do I know this? Well, scouts should die from 4 railgun shots. And when they don't--not to mention there's no explosion at the ground where I've aimed--there's something up. This is just another issue that can probably be solved pretty easily.
2. Why do LAVs flip so easily? You hit a hill 1 degree too sharp and you're on your back: a sitting duck for that swarm launcher over there. Something should be done to the suspension, or something in there, to make these things not be doing barrel rolls everytime I take a hill faster than 30 mph.
3. This is probably the one that will get trolled the most. We--or I at least--really need another respec. When the Uprising update was released, the extra stuff, equipment, dropsuits, all of it... it was a swarm of new stuff and I acted brashly. Now that I'm a couple of months into the update, I've noticed... the f**k?! Why am I the only person above 3,000,000 SP that isn't running around with Ck.0 and complex shield extenders? Because I went and added points to a bit too many things... things that, in my opinion now, really suck. Perhaps some kind of an irreversible, one-time per character respec? I can't really see the harm in it; most people that received their prototype equipment on the first respec aren't going to be too heavily benefited if they respec again. There should just be a way to reset mistakes that were made earlier into the update's release, because I'm paying for it now (my KDR dropped from around 2.35 to .56 within a week or so).
A shoutout to my friend CLONE117 here, because I'm doing his work for him. The next 1 is not my suggestion, it is his. And while I halfheartedly agree with him, they're not my top priorities.
4. Instant battles with gear restrictions. Aren't we all tired of getting farmed by boundless HMGs and Duvolle's right at our spawn point in Ambush matches? Isn't it getting really annoying how on every Skirmish, the enemy takes every objective and holds them for the entire match due to the fact they're running around in full prototype gear, while your team has nothing but militia and advanced, with maybe one or two prototype gear users? Instant battles with a layout such as this may help:
Instant Battle - Ambush - Militia & Standard Instant Battle - Ambush - Standard & Advanced Instant Battle - Ambush - Prototype
And, to make some snipers and other risk-takers happy, players on a lower scale (such as someone using militia gear) could join one of the higher matches.
5. We both agree on this one, and I'm sure others do as well... Charybdis. Boy, that's a name we really hate to see not on our side. I'm sorry, but if I swarm an LAV 3 times, it should die. Not laugh, shake it off, and keep going. Talking about overpowered, those things are nothing more than really fast tanks. Limbus, you're not getting off the hook either. They're both extremely overpowered for an LAV. Logistics dropsuits have much lower shield and armour than the rest, but a logistics LAV has twice, if not three times more than a standard LAV such as the Saga or Onikuma? Sorry, I can't quite see the logic in that. Those things need a serious nerf... or something else to make them not be invincible taxis.
Now, back to me again...
This is probably the final thing on my list that I can notice. This isn't all too much of a problem, and most likely everyone already knows about it, but I'ma put it anyway.
6. Healing is a little... odd. You have to be at their point of death rather than their body. Makes reviving people a little tricky sometimes. This can probably be fixed rather easily.
Now, if you actually read all of those, and you're still reading, and you haven't nearly shot yourself from boredom, you're a special kind of person. Chances are this thread will have nothing but trolls, be downtrodden, debilitated, and shot down, but, hey, at least we know what gear you guys use out there.
And if you happen to agree with me, on any of these, please leave your thoughts. Maybe this will actually get noticed by a few and something may be considered.
Exio out.
Hey, did you need that? "Need what?" *headshot* "Your life." |
