In game tonight with PRO we noticed they oddly kept committing suicide by jumping out of MCC. By near end of the game it was clear they figured out how to earn points from dying. Points from Revive/Heal comes to mind? Ringleader was Contraband Joe.

Oh wow... Imagine an entire team jumping out of their MCC simultaneously and not activating their inertia dampeners and keep going at it for the whole match. Hilarious. |

I'm pretty sure you can't revive from a failed drop though. Similarly to deaths from splash damage or collisions, you aren't revivable after the fall. |

I suspect there was no SP grinding involved in their repeated suicides. It seems much more likely that you were noticing an awoxing event. Its also possible that they were loosing and decided to make a game of killing themselves. Its really hard to say without them commenting though. Did you notice any of the suiciders, or anyone else on the team with unbelievably high wp scores post match? |

They were all 0 for something but had top slots for several hundred WP in match with CBJ @ 1500+. When they racked up the points I did not notice but there were comments from both my squads right from the beginning of the game about "why are they committing suicide?"

Maybe they were farming points from drop uplinks? |

We did not gain points by killing are selfs I'm not alond to say how we did it but unplinks would take to long, but this hint should lead to how we gain the points, falling from the mcc count as if we were blown up so trige doesn't work. If anyone can say how we did it I give them one mill isk |

Not super sure, but isn't it possible to sorta survive a fall if you have put a ton of extenders/plates on... or maybe you just die without bleeding out allowing a logi to revive you, then you cook and repeat. |

Still makes no sense, one can easily make 1500 without dying more than 2-3 times.
Either way this is pretty pathetic. |

Its not gaining SP for dying dont worry.
CBJ managed to get his dudes to try what i had been wanting to get Subdreddit to try for a while and he learned it works.
Its genius.
Its also not necessary to do it in the MCC. Its just a clean testing environment. No, I wont be releasing what exactly he figured out how to do. |

Can you deploy droplinks in the MCC? You could farm SP with a buddy by respawning in each other's droplinks repeatedly. |

You can but at 25 points a spawn (30 with a squad order on), you'd need 60 spawns (or 50) to get 1500 wp. Feasible but only 3-4 could actually get a decent number of points from it. |

I quit looking at anything except WP, although not counting kills and assists means that WP is shorted as is SP. Still the same old CCP.

I'm here to explain what happened, and to let CCP know that its working as intended. This is not a favorable exploit by any means. Here is what you were observing:
We had nearly 2 full squads in that match with about 8 of us participating in the test. We spawned to the MCC with many many nanohives and proceeded to place them around the interior of the ship. We then spent the entire match practicing our close quarters shooting at one another while running in circles to distribute the 10 wp for resupply around. You detected us doing something strange because, every time we came close to losing our nanohives, we would throw ourselves out of the MCC to die and thus gain more nanohives.
Summary of results:
Would have been better off just playing. The WP payout is minimal at best, and as indicated, I barely got 1,500 WP.
That said, if 16 people did this with 4 nanohives each, with a Defend order... this could be more efficient... HOWEVER, I still believe that a casual merc could pull of the same points by simply playing the game properly.
