Something is wrong when a scout can 1 v 1 a heavy at full hp. I believe they should make the prototype heavy suit resistant to damage AND they should make it have 1000 base armor. That way they can legitly be a heavy, a walking tank to the infantry. |

It's wrong when it doesn't have to do with skill. If the scout was more skilled than the heavy he should win, but if the heavy is more skilled(i.e. better critical thinking skills and reaction speed) then he should win. If the scout won not due to skill but due to the suit itself then that is the problem. |

The only counter to a heavy should be teamwork or a bigger weapon.

No, if the heavy invested 3mil+ SP into his suit and has such slow turning speed he needs a clear advantage over the suits that can get 1000 EHP |

It's not only the scouts that are the problem but the other suits that can get 1000 EHP and effectively be a heavy without being a heavy. |

Scouts are tiny and nimble, heavies are fat and slow.
If a scout tries to run down a heavy in a hallway, he's going to lose. If a fat guy is caught in the open, the Scout's gonna dance circles around him.

Based on that answer just get rid of all the other classes and everyone should play as a heavy. Why play as any other class if it takes several of you to kill a heavy when you could just play as a heavy?
e.g. If it takes a team of 2 to kill a heavy then just field 16 heavy's as nothing less than 16 heavy's could counter it. |

Speaking as a shotgun-using Scout, going 1v1 with a Heavy is often an even match. It's tough to close distance to use the shotgun to its fullest without eating a faceful of HMG shots, but even a decent Heavy will have a little trouble keeping me in their sights as I run around.
The key word there is "decent"; if you're just bad, no amount of nerfs or buffs will help you. |

Because the heavy is so slow that they wouldn't even be able to reach each other by the time the match ended.

What I mean is that heavies should be feared, you shouldn't think *lol free kill* when you see a heavy you should think "OH ****" |

Now that's just an excuse. Plenty of LAVs around to get from A to B.

Under the right circumstances heavy's are feared but I agree there are problems with both the heavy and the scout. I think there was a major thread on these issues a little while ago. You may be able to find it with the search function. |

Make it so heavies can't hack maybe? They start being murdered by LAV? Someone calls in an orbital? CCP can figure it out. Heavies do need some sort of buff whether it be resistance or HP. |

I agree that a heavy suits turning speed is terrible, and it seriously impacts one ability to properly aim. this is why I wanted to clarify the difference between the heavy losing due to a lack of skill, which is understandable and should be happening, or because CPP created flaws in the heavy suit that makes it extremely difficult for it to fight on par with other suits, regardless of the user's skill. I suggest CCP simply correct the turning speed and aiming for heavies. |

Scouts are definitely supposed to beat heavies. However, I think HMGs need more accuracy. Other than that, I think heavy players just get cocky too often and forget they aren't invincible. |

There is no direct counter in play here. In certain situations the Scout will own the heavy, and in others, the heavy will mow down the scout.
In Eve, get a frigate close enough to a cruiser and watch the cruiser die a slow death. If they start off pretty far apart and the cruiser is using rails, he'll probably blap Mr. Friggy in a short amount of time. It's all situational.
There's no "This class beats this one", there's "If this class is here and this one is here, and they both do their own thing, this is what might happen". From what I'm reading, people are trying to dumb it down to Runescape level. |

NO!
If you really want that, then you should sacrifice 50% of your current walk/running and turning speed and no ability to use non-heavy weapons. That would be fair.
Hey CCP. Make EVERYONE Super strong against all weapons, so we don't die every 10th of a second from pro weapons or make all weapons do 10 percent of their current dmg, so we all don't rain our teardrops from the heavens on the forums. |

I think it would be hilarious if bullets did near-nothing, shields and armor regenerated at perverse rates and every match ended with 32 (or more, I hopahopahope) mercs rolling on the ground, beating uselessly on each other's undamaged, pristine armor as the clock rolled down to a tie. |
