Its as different and engaging as you want to make it. If you like lore and RP like I do then its fantastic as I imagine you all as Matari operators doing nefarious acts of terrorism against the Holy Empire.
Also if you don't have an EVE corp involved in FW allied with you then there is no point as you cannot see how easy winning dust side FW matches makes complexing EVE side.
FW will be iterated upon. I have laid down a couple of posts in the feed back section about improving immersion in the dust universe like themed game modes rather than standard FPS ones, some PC suggestions, FW suggestions, and general small out of game play nuances that could enhance a players sense of immersion in the universe of DUST 514.

Tacky as hell mate. You do know that plantside 2 is also losing players, and especially publicly know players for being a boring and repetitive game, as well as being shallow in terms of game modes, lore, factions, weapons and general gameplay in the same manner Dust is.
Now you'll have to justify this for me but why do I have to pay money to get a premium liscene or to buy new weapons? Why do they all look and feel the same, why is the outfit system to genericly "clan" based? Why when I play this game do I get sniped from a mile away with no clue as to how the controls are laid out, or how to get to the fight.
More importantly why is tank spamming such a legitimate tactic and why when it happens does your entire warzone seem to crash under soul crushing lag brought on by unstable servers AND players all clamouring to farm you inside your spawn zones for kills?

If only you played EVE..... You would see how awesome the whole shebang is.
Me winning on the ground aids in determining of the EVE fleets can push forwards or not, or even aid in holding out against the enemy.
Strong Minnie Dusting in Asgherd the other day meant that a rather small Minnie fleet was able to deny a much larger Amarrian fleet the novice complex in the system and preventing us from bashing the **** out of the local POS.
After losing two expensive ships to gate camps and DPS Thrasher fits I was boots on the ground trying to fix the damn modifiers in our favour and even with a bunch of allied squads only moved the plex down from about +15% to +12% after down time. |

Well I have a Pilot that Runs the Amarr FW fields out in Devoid, if you join PIE public and squad with me or another PIE member I an provide OB support, that or I can make an OB alt which can join corps to provide OB's for the day.
Otherwise I'm pretty sure you have to be in the Alliance/ Corp to drop OB's....so I guess I'll be making the OBer toon soon, just gonna cost me some ISK to get it going. |
