i think too many new players are hung up over the VICTORY/DEFEAT message in instant battles, when it doesn't actually matter one bit! the actual scoreboard is in your wallet. and in fact, that's where the noobs are already winning game after game, and they don't even think about it because they are told game after game they lost, they are ranked at the bottom, they didn't kill anyone. very disheartening.

Give noobs a challenge they can win (and in fact are already winning game after game). Vets - well, yeah it'll suck for us temporarily to see us drop in the scoreboard, but 1) we can buy militia suits too! and 2) when PC/FW is fixed, we can have our our very own territories in which to cry ourselves to sleep.
It'll be nice to see public matches with mostly mill/std gear, with the occasional ADV or GASP PRO who must be fielding the suit because he's just THAT GOOD. Not today where you have hordes of terrible players propping up their score board with PRO gear. |

another reason this is a good idea - we're supposed to be mercenaries fighting for isk. this aligns our in game priorities with the lore. do immortals sit around worrying about WP or KDR? no. they just need a paycheck. |

Agreed... seeing a cost vs. destroyed value would be nice.... knowing that, even though I lost 250k in suits, I did 8 mil in damage.
Conversely, I would like to see a won/cost score... to know if I lost 800k in suits to only earn 250k in a match... |

Yes. I have long since argued that kdr is a stupid stat for Dust, and that the most important stat is isk lost vs enemy isk destroyed. Personally, I think this scoreboard should be altered to reflect this fact. |

This has my full support. Leave the K/D ratio stats in the scoreboard too, though. You can never have enough stats and graphs. |
