But the Mouse support in this game is terrible, Is CCP having problems setting the sensitivity of the mouse with the PS3 ? Because it feels like a virtual stick, is not accurate at all, and i need a 5 meters long table to just turn 90 degrees. That is so disappointing, i was very exited about this feature.
It is a virtual stick, from my understanding it has to be implemented like so to allow for the turnspeed limitations to be effective across the board for kbm and sticks.
It stinks, but it's better then using a gamepad.
A few tips, use a low dpi mouse or a mouse w/ dpi resolution memory that supports very low dpi. I find a cheap mouse typically works best.
Don't go over 90 sensitivity. The jump to 100 is really weird and makes tracking nearly impossible with ADS. |

No offense to KBM users but CCP should have stuck with just DS3 like they originally intended, then at least the controls would be more precise and less sluggish because they wouldn't have to worry about balance.
No offense taken.
Sometimes I think they should have just launched on PC. No offense. |

Because the lower i can go is 800dpi, well that sucks. I try what you said, thanks for the tips.
Ya, i've got a gaming mouse also, tried it, couldnt get to a resolution that made it easy. Opted to use a free Dell mouse :-P |

Ya, but they should have, it would save us PC gamers from having to associate with your ilk. |

Yeah, but they did advertise that Dust 514 will have KB/M support, something unique for consoles that will appeal to PC users. I'm sure Sony sold lots of PS3's because this specific feature, i don't want to use the word LIE, but i can't think any other word. Actually I've been paying attention to Dust 514 since 2009 when my roommate my freshmen year told me about it. Since that point I watched every video that I could find that talked about It. I got into the closed beta a little over a year ago and shortly before I got in I watched a developer Q&A session during fanfest and one of the questions was about KBM the developer said there were no plans to have KBM support for Dust 514. When I got into the closed beta a year ago it only had DS3 support and still CCP made no mention of adding KBM. As the closed beta went along the console FPS gamers were dominating the battlefield and all the EVE online players who were in closed beta who didn't have as much console FPS experience complained and begged for KBM support so CCP gave in. You're talking about the later stages of the game in their advertising, I was talking about the early stages pre-closed beta. So next time you want to call some one a liar make sure you know your facts and history of the game. I was #1 in warpoints at the end of the E3 build last year so I think I know a thing or 2 about this game.
Cool, story. Bro.
I've followed this game for a bit also and there announcement of supporting KBM, before open beta ever released was the reason I followed the game and eventually picked it up.
Did some quick Googling and it looks like it was confirmed ~ feb 2012. Open beta didnt start until 2013.....
Hmmmm..
HmmMMMmmmm... "When I got into closed beta a year ago it only had DS3 support"....
HMMMMMMMMMM.......
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM..... "Mouse and keyboard support announced 2/2012"
HMMMMMm.... that's 1 year and ~4 months...
