The thing with the flaylock is it's great for cqc as stated in its description.
As for the mass driver again the nerfers are just getting blown up in guess what? Cqc where it shines, when you have mastered it you can hit at medium and long range. Generally the whole nerf thing is from Ar users.
Now because I'm a logi the Ar is no good for me, it's a direct combat weapon which is no good when you have less hp and speed than assault, I do use a scrambler rifle and flaylock pistol when I'm in assault mode (proto amarr logi) but when I'm supporting and defending I use mass driver and flaylock. It's area denial right? so when guys run at me spraying their Ar and strafing I deny them the area in front of me to do so, rock paper scissors right because cqc mass driver and flaylock will always own, rather than chance your luck run to get a bit of distance, if a sniper is on a hill you wouldn't stand and shoot him from out in the open? so stop trying to cqc a mass driver or flaylock. The Ar is not supposed to just be the best at everything and it's very versatile anyway.
The whole nerfing thing has got out of hand, I even wanted the flaylock nerfed but it's good for cqc and that's where people are getting killed by it, it's like moaning the knives have too much range or something stupid like that lol
And also anyone who balances based on pub games just shouldnt , no joke I found it way easier in terms of skill and ttk with my scrambler rifle and scrambler pistol combo because generally targets are not all in cqc. |

But the only reason I see them asking for a nerf is "Oh nothing else can kill me the AR is too powerful I can't beat it". That's what happened to the laser rifle. Flaylocks and Mass Drivers can hit you almost everytime, which is bs. They still do too much damage to shield tankers. I can say this because I use the Flaylock myself. I do aim my shots and try not to spam, but I can still hit pretty well if I am spamming. I could tell you about the Logi cars too but I'm sure you've heard em all. There are things that need nerfing, but CCP needs to stop nerfing stuff to the point of being absolute crap. I wanna be in a match where EVERYTHING is being used. Not just one thing because it's the most powerful. |

it seems like a player goes through have the clip to kill a single player...
lowering the rpm mean less ammo is used. and would probably increase its killing efficiency .

The RoF is fine! The hit detection needs to be fixed, and the spin up time needs to be adjusted. It needs longer optimal range and less dispersion.
I have used HMGs since I started in Chromosome and I can say with 100% certainty that you have no idea what you are talking about. |

theres nothing wrong with a good tanker going 20 and 0 but when you lose a tank in back to back games there lies a problem
