I won't include any spoilers. but i finished TLoU. what an awesome game.
the worst part, is now that i am done, I came back to play a game of dust. to go from a game like TLoU back to dust is pretty painful. to compare the production value isn't even worth talking about and in truth, isn't why I post this.
but to go from tight controls where everything works so solidly to the mushy lag fight fest that is experiencing dust through a DS3... All I can do is shake my head. shameful ****.
The first dust game I played my lav got stuck on terrain, then hit by a tank, mashed O to at least escape to no avail and got blown up outside my LAV. at leas the tanker didn't get the kill :)
but it went all downhill from there. my whole team was redlined. but i managed to get to a null and half way take it when I got flux naded. fair enough- that's why i left my LAV running in close proximity. but hell, i might as well of just recalled it. I turned to escape, got stuck to a box, lost all my armor before non-jumping half stuck in crouch position but still somehow making it to my car, hitting O judiciously all the while- don't want to enter then exit the car ya know, and bam.. never got in the car. just sat there and got shot down.
TL;DR- Playing the last of us and it's tight laser beam controls and then back to dust may have ruined dust for me. Can the devs please play their own game. then go play TLoU and then pretty please unabashedly plagiarize the ever living **** out of their game in that regard? |

this is constructive. I've said as much in nice ways. all kinds of ways since closed beta.
I think they should play another game. play their game. and figure out who to make their game as responsive as naughty dog has accomplished.
but here we are a year later, and we can't map controls, the new mappings are variations on the same theme, they are laggy, mushy, don't even register at times, etc.
since you are their lap dog, can you run along and let them know?

It does and its okay.... really heavily luck based though, if you get the right ingredients you can make grenades if you don't then you are screwed. |
