Going to play it again on survival and collect everything though. I heard the multiplayer is actually kind of fun too. |

lol i think most of them are just tired of complaining to CCP about this and that, and hoping to get some sort of response from those guys, or they are just tired of CCP's bullshit with this game. who knows |

CCP have abandoned the first line trenches just like their online relations manual states - the first in line get shot.
Unless you post something real dodgy they will be ignoring it. They will still be watching the place like hawks though.
They will be desperately trying to find a way out this mess - while "restructuring" their Shanghai operation.
The jury is out if they know the way out of the hole. |

Last of us has a dam good multiplayer going on. And this is first of many games that are going to chip away. Somthing drastic needs to be done soon. As I don't really have any drive to log on tonight :-( |

I've been involved in the game for a while but only recently started posting on the forums (never really felt the need before). I only post in threads that offer constructive criticism and arguments and are not just general rant threads. I do agree though that the player base seems to be shrinking and that makes me kinda sad.
The game has lots and lots of potential and I don't want to see it fail but I think some people have just had enough and are turning away. |

well im happy that they decided to give us a free to play game with no monthly subscriptions, and i've been playing since closed beta, but recently i've been playing now and then and not like i use to before. sometimes i dont even want to go back to the game because 1: its still the same. 2: you don't really advance in the game that much, its either kill or be killed. 3: PC doesnt offer much in a sense besides making extra cash. 4: FW doesnt effect us in any way besides the story with which race occupies which area in EVE. hence my reluctance to actually log into dust to play.
wish they'd give us the new suits already but they are taking their sweet time.
and now that a few games are out, im actually playing those instead of heading back to dust. |

The game has lots and lots of potential and I don't want to see it fail but I think some people have just had enough and are turning away. Potential, sure. I'm but a whelp compared to some of the old guard who've been in since the start of closed beta but I can imagine 14 months of banking on potential but only seeing a few shuffling steps forward would really wear you down. There've been small changes, sure, but the core fundamentals? They haven't really been refined. There's even been steps backwards.
Small changes might be an unfair appraisal of the past year's progress but I'm afraid I'm falling short when trying to think of any major developments. Have they cultivated the gameplay, envisioned what they want the flow of battle to be like and made strides to make it so? If they have we haven't noticed. Either the vision isn't there or the attempt at realisation was thoroughly inadequate. How do they want LAVs, Dropships and HAVs to integrate into the gameplay? Do they want LAVs to be potential harassers, taxis, a light infantry fighting vehicle? Transports for player-held objectives? HAVs, what do you want them doing? Running the spectrum from long-range AV bombardment with lighter frames to a short-range Blaster on a heavier tank, soaking it up and dishing it out while aiding the frontline push into a defended complex? Dropships, dropping troops, that's a rather simple one and yet has gone quite wrong. The problem ain't even their sorry state right now, it's the lack of focused objectives to drop on and by extension the tangible frontline built around it to drop behind.
I could go on. Haven't even touched infantry. Suffice to say the important role right now is pretty much just slayers, with a Logi thrown in for good measure. The fact Cal Logis are among the premiere slayers throws a further wrench. |

I may be new here, but maybe is something to do with CCP deleting every thread that they don't like ?, and banning everyone that doesn't have positive happy thoughts ? Only guessing. |

Worst case scenario for CCP is that people don't comment and don't complain.
CCP has delivered squat in the way of quality, fixes, respecs etc. but has taken a crap load of cash from beta players by all accounts here. The fact things aren't burning is as a sign people are just tuning out and aren't listening to any of the propaganda messages any more.
Once people tune out, they drop out and will find something else to do. Then again though if CCP want to help that by driving people off with an aggressive and vindictive approach then that's their barrow to push I guess. |

It's this thread again. The forums seem pretty alive to me. I haven't seen as many "OMG CCP YOU FAIL" threads, that may be why there isn't as much forum activity compared to normal. I'm glad for the change. |
