Due to a heavy amount of me being an advice chaser and my inability to excel at anything accept bullet-catching, I think that my character has become a trainwreck of failed generalism and wasted specialization at the same time. So, I'm going to post my skill tree here, and give most of you a good laugh. Once you stop laughing, I would gladly take advice on how to trim my bonsai, as it were.

If you're armour tanking, I highly recommend getting armour repairers to 5. This unlocks the complex repairer, which is very very good compared to the other repairers. |

Whoah, whoah, whoah. Hold up. Is that AR Operation V with Ammo Capacity IV? No AR Proficiency? The +3% damage from each rank of proficiency is the holy grail of most weaponry skills. Would be serving you far better than greater ammo reserves, drastically improves the effectiveness of your AR which also means you need less bullets sent downwind to do the job.
You've really over invested in ammo capacity. Currently it drains a ton of SP for very few returns. You're not even running heavy so you should have access to nanohives if ammo is really proving to be a critical problem.
Shield Extension peaks at 5. Complex Extenders are a massive jump from Enhanced and the passive benefit of the skill has weight to it. A similar case can be made for Armor Repairers but the jump isn't as significant.
Amarr Logi is currently the subpar one, the brief rundown is that it suffers in slots, equipment and fitting at all levels in order to field a sidearm... which it can only use at Prototype level. It also commits the grave sin of not being a Caldari Logi, which baffled everyone by slipping into the game in as obscene a state as it did.
The Amarr basic or assault medium frame get excellent mileage from your heavy investment in the passive armour and shield upgrade skills however, they're a solid choice. |

Thanks, everyone. I put a few hundred thou into AR prof, and now that thing hits like a hammer attached to a lawnmower engine. While fitting that to my Amarr medium frame I discovered a couple more things that made me grin, but I'll keep those to myself for now. |

Now that you've tried several different suits, stick to one and get an advanced suit type to proto levels so you will have an adequate base for your duvolle.
Stop skilling into scanning skills (active or passive).
Rest looks ok. Get electronics IV very soon. And did you have complex shield extenders? Make sure you do. Other than that, like I said, pick one awesome godly proto (soon!) fit that costs a fortune and make sure that every point you spec into does something positive for that suit. And then build a cheaper variant and run that on a daily basis. |

I'd actually say thats not bad just condense and focus on 1 thing at a time. Could take that skill out of assault, gallente, and minitar, probably don't need cardiac on your logi. Rechargers are up to you but I don't use them I'm going for 4 complex shield exnteders.

Not to be crass, but there's really nothing here I can take anything "out of". If I could, this game would be far less frustrating for me. |

You sir are awesome, you get +1 from me for being a cool bro.
For competitive play I have found people need the skills 5 Weapons, 5 Weapon Damage, 5 Racial Suit, 5 Shield, 5 Armor, 5 Shield, 5 Shield Extender.
With those skills you have the core of the gameplay down and can move from there into anything. The hardest of those to get is the Racial Suit and the Weapon Damage. The rest is pretty cake. |
