No its be constructive or get locked/banned/
Senseless rambling and ranting is utterly useless and clogs the forums.
No matter how fancy you dress up that 'oh lag is bad' in a 4 post long story it is still not that very constructive.
Now stating when and where lag usually attacks you like on this map with this structure with this mood I get lag really bad. Is extremely far more helpful. |

I read most of those, they weren't constructive. but if you feel you're being treated unfairly Counter-petition and ask for an escalation. |

Just be glad CPM don't have moderator powers I know a select few individuals that another CPM member would erase off the boards. |

Huge mistake... Huge
I agree another year in beta wouldn't hurt dust 514, HOWEVER CCP does has its reasons for releasing it officially. |

Isn't CPM supposed to represent the community? Don't get me wrong I can imagine that some individuals deserve it...but really a post like this from a CPM member.... I saw some post of you in the Nanite Injector bug thread that DEVs are working on it. I saw you create a thread about plates (while there was already a great armor discussion thread) for a DEV that was on vacation. Now you would like to have moderator powers. Shouldn't you just give the DEVs a hint to take 5min off to make a post on the forums? Shouldn't you just elaborate in the existing thread and take notes to give to the DEV? Shouldn't you just warn the GMs of said individuals? I'm starting to believe you just want to be part of the DEV team instead of CPM.
Just we're players too and some players have their own drama that follows them into the CPM despite best efforts and a big sign saying leave your Drama Lamas at home. |

Not asking for what the reasons are specifically, but does this mean that you know something about this that we don't? Again, not prying for information, but if they have reasons aside from "5/14 would be a cool day", that'd be nice to know. Yeah, I have my own theory's as well too. If you have anything you can safely state on the subject, it'd be nice to know it wasn't all about that cute release date. How about "stroking upper management ego"? Surely not.
It's a theory on my end as well. |

Depends on your view of yourself once you become a CPM. The whole idea of needing a dropship pilot or tank pilot is very silly because there is so much that the CPM doesn't really touch on. Sure in our idle time we help out with the Thread Hunting on possibly missed ideas or concerns (which is why I am beginning to hate bad posters because they're really hurting the game the most as they drown out the real stuff CCP or CPM is after.) and also being well versed in an aspect helps out with certain aspects of feedback but rarely does that expertise needs tapping on less so than the experience and familiarity of the people and the potential responses to changes.
For example one minor small but awesome feature of the 1.2 I have highlighted as probably the best new feature being added in 1.2 has nothing to do with anyone being experts in anything. Yet being players in the game has made all the CPM know how important that feature is.
I mean I would love to update you guys more often but I am restricted to what is or has not been said yet by developers most of the time. All I can do is point out broken and obvious stuff that somehow managed to scrape through the developer's own reading of the forums and they don't miss much which says quite a bit considering how often I trawl through the forums. |

Honestly I think we need to get the little tiny violin out for you. Where's the CPM statement saying, "CCP, get your crap sorted"?

It's good to hear that the DEVs are not missing much on the forums it just doesn't seem like that when some thread get a DEV response and others threads don't or that a DEVs posts in a thread and doesn't follow up. Anyway to improve this kind of communication from DEVs to the community? I know that the community has to adjust too, but I see the current 'negativty' on the forums more like a warning-sign. I hope I'm not confusing you I'm just rambling atm. Maybe a rating system for threads is a good idea so you guys can filter out the good stuff more easily?
Well the Developers are people as well, there are a few devs not well versed in forum posting similar to how there are a few members not good at it either. It's not a nice place most of the time and there are a few scared of you guys because of the hostilities being passed around, which is the ultimate reason why super negative posts are bad they chase developers away from responding in the first place. I am not saying you are not allowed to criticize the game but the more you guys sharpen the complaints like a spear tip the less the devs want to poke that.
There are some developers who are better versed in talking with the community such as CCP Logic Loop would be the most recent example he went into the nitty gritty of why the things they are on the maps and why certain things cannot work yet and what is being worked on.
There are a few that are genuinely busy and would love to post on the forums but things are more pressing than reading forums.
While the CPM is trying to encourage the devs to open up more, I really need you guys to not slam the door on their faces if/when they do. |

You might think in this forum maybe? In a sticky or something?
Not buried, but well veiled.
