I'd suggest you grab a deathadder 2013 from razer. After switching or trying other gaming mouses it was the only one that I could feel comfortable with and it didn't look like it had circus lights all over. It's very affordable too. |

Razor Habu / microsoft
The only mice I spend money on, Microsoft + razor = win.
/edit, I ment to say, if you dont want to spend more then 50$ then this is a good mouse, but deathadder is better @75-90$ |

I can tell you from trial and error higher DPI does not work with this **** mouse/joystick emulation CCP is trying to pull,.
Lower DPI the better IMO.. If the mouse has a built in DPI adjustment or even a program via the PC you can adjust your DPI I found that 1600 is at least playable (Still annoying as **** but playable) Lower your DPI then adjust the in game DPI..
Higher the DPI means you hit CCP's built in acceleration/deceleration, faster.. Meaning uncontrollable movements even when trying to fine aim or turnaround quickly..
For example when you make fine/small movements with the mouse its normal/accelerated speed depending on where you are on the arc.. If for some reason you need to try to adjust quickly to aim at a guy strafing or off to the right or left.. The faster you move your mouse the slower your speed gets, so if you are an everyday mouse user you will imediatly feel how gimped the mouse is when trying to make precise movements or counter aiming..
So in nut shell I found that you can semi trick the accelration curve by lowering the DPI on your mouse back to 1998 speeds...
Don't get me wrong I usually play PC fps games with 5000+ on the Razer Naga, but the Dust Aiming mechanics are broken as ****, so by turning down the DPI it is at least playable..
Hope this helps..
Also: This example has been given before to understand how jacked up the acceleration/deceleration is in this game..
Take your mouse at default DPI place it on the far left of your mouse pad
Slowly move it from left to right (Your character will spin 3 to 4 rotations depending on DPI)
Now take your mouse on the left side of the mouse pad and move it from left to right as fast as you can (Your character will barley move 1 maybe 2 rotations..)
The faster you move your mouse the slower your character rotates..
I'm sure this was implemented because supposedly, Heavy mouse users in Chromosome could spin circles around Heavy DS3 users... But I believe what ever they did to gimp the mouse to try to balance it to the DS3 has gimped the DS3 as well, im no developer, but neither input users or reviewers enjoy this mechanic..

I personally prefer Logitech mice (G500 is my bread and butter, however i use the wireless Proformance MX mouse due to the set-up I have for my PS3). Any mouse with decent trackiong is good dor dust as DPI in this game is garbage.... |
