Man, the word "analogy" just broke. But I see your point, and a very valid one. CCP should just refund in AUR everything that was bought with AUR, removing all benefits thereof (BPOs, SP from boosters, etc.) and let the time and energy we've wasted/invested here stay gone. |

I would do it in a heartbeat, and I have 14 mil SP.
The best part about dust would be the feeling of walking away with all money it stole from me.
I look at it like getting to return a engagement ring at full refund.
Promises where made, treadmills where put away and it turns out this partner had a lot more skeletons in the closet then where mentioned.
Would you get a refund if you could?
You have 14 Mil SP? Sounds like you got your money's worth to me. If I were CCP I wouldn't give you a penny back because you had your play time from the product. Whether you enjoy it or not NOW is irrelevant. You have 14Mil SP. It's not like you got that idle. |

There's been some pretty strong research to show that videogames (FPSs in particular) can ward off some of the effects of aging on the brain. So, I suggest CCP develop "Nursing Home 514", ASAP. Instead of dropships, we'd have buses with hoveround ramps, and the NULLS can be the cafeteria and activities room, etc. As a guy with a sweet ma in a local care facility, I can tell you she has a blast there and would OHK most of her neighbors with a decent AR first day. |

You'v bought yourself some fun, haven't you? Or if you look through a holiday brochure, buy yourself a holiday to a tropical paradise based upon the pictures & what you read in the brochure. Enjoy the flight, entertainment on the plane etc, but when you arrive you find that you're actually in an urban slum where it is wet & windy all day with frequent power cuts etc. Would you feel cheated then? This isn't a dig or whatever, just stating that 73% of all analogies are like statistics, and you can make them mean whatever you want them to mean.
The difference being nobody forced you to spend money on this game. This would equate to your post being a free vacation, which you took advantage of, but the ethnic food of the region which you decided to purchase AFTER staying for a few hours, just to see if it made it a better experience, left a bad taste in your mouth. |

I don't know. Planetside is kind of...Like what DUST promised to be. You know? The MMOFPS where the things you did had an impact, and was team oriented etc. For some reason, people still praise DUST, so why can't I like Planetside 2? QFFuckingT Things you do have an impact? Are you high? Have you even played the game at all? I mean, I hope you people are just deluded and have actually played the PC version, because I honestly feel sorry for you all if you haven't even played it on PC and are expecting it to be any better on the PS4. A. My outfit, The Enclave, does a mass air drop on a base. B. The enemies attempt to zerg us off the capture point for about 5 minutes, give or take C. EVERYONE leaves to go ghost-cap some empty base somewhere else If we have too many victories, the other outfits will just jump to other continents en masse to go stomp on randoms. Notice also that that video was not long after a Game Update, which bring people back for short periods before they all leave again. My outfit managed to get 128 players online for a full 4 platoons of us on the day of the Game Update that brought out the lattice system, the feature that promised to finally bring the massive battles we all started playing for into the game. 4 days later we could barely muster up 80, and I could long in as a non-premium member and switch continents during prime-time without even hitting a queue. Kinda hard to have fun when every fight ends in the Vanu rolling in and rolfstomping everyone in the retardedly OP ZOE MAXes* that it took SOE forever to fix, and people STILL preferred to go cap empty bases for easy XP rather than fight. *Terran Republic MAX suits get an ability that locks them to the ground and increases their RoF and reload speed. New Conglomerate get a riot shield that deflects all damage that hits it at the cost of not being able to use your weapons. The Vanu Sovereignty got the Zealot Overdrive Engine, which allowed them to move as fast as normal infantry, increased the damage their shots did, and only had a minor penalty to hp as a downside. Clearly SOE is the superior company when it comes to game balance.

This game is probably the number 1 reason I will never pay for a game that is not a 100% complete finished product ever again. Quick returns have ruined the gaming industry and it has taken a turn for the worse in the last 1 1/2 years. I expect a crash soon as I'm fed up with the industry and so are a lot of other people. Everyone just makes trailers and shoves out early access and beta and all that stuff and lies about the content now or promises improvements later. I used to pirate a lot of stuff and buy a few select products I really enjoyed. I'm going back to doing that now 100%. Just think of all the games that have gotten quick returns that have turned out poorly. Practically all of them. It demotivates the developers too much. Its too powerful a tool that they don't know how to use.
That's what happens . Sorry you spent all of that money. If only there was a game that was Free to play, that didn't require money to win.. If only...........

You actually didn't have to pay to get in the closed beta. There were many ways you could have gotten in for free. Like I did. You only had to pay if you couldn't wait. |
