you want a tissue? 256 players on the same map is not good enough for you? Game mechanics were imo as good as it gets on console FPS. The aiming sensitivity vs character movement speed were perfectly fine tuned. Customizable roles - medics, mechanics, commandos, snipers, assault all with really good balance. The game was gold, too bad Sony did not realize that this project was worth supporting and instead pushed for Soccom coolaid.

Edit: you did get to lvl 40 right and max out sensor jamming riiiiight? Takes around 200 hrs before you are "capable" and know maps ect.

Same deal. I didn't play MAG until v2.13 which everyone tells me is nothing compared to the awesomeness of pre1.03. Don't care MAG was the best, I only stopped because of my Bluray dying.

I personally have played more than 1000 hours of game and MAG was the most beautiful game I've ever played, alpha you can not come to say that MAG bad having only played a couple of hours and especially not having seen the various modes in full ...
256 players together on one map ... you really like as it is now dust? for me we are still light years away from what we could offer in MAG, if it was really that sucks a lot of people would not have played so much ....

As the group said... 5 hours to judge a game? More then a year after its hay day? You are worse then the critics who play 5 hours of dust and cry rubbish. Clocked in over 2000 hours of Mag here. Number one killer of MAG was the Sony server attack that put the game at zero players for 30 days(online only game no one could play). Then there was the epic "crash and can't play domo period". Plain and simple Sony killed MAG directly and indirectly.
In many, many players opinions a game way before its time.
If you have not gave it 100 hours you are just trolling, because now many players left on MAG have at least 2000 hours. You think you can compete with that? Of course you gonna die...and die...and if you have no friends rezzing you( which is undoubtedly the case) you will just die.

MAG is dead man. Its unsupported and the only people that still play it are super-vets that know the game back and front. Of course it is not going to be new-player friendly NOW.

When people reference MAG, they are speaking about what it was like a year or two ago when it was a viable game. Now its a ghost. If it were still viable, many of us would still be playing it.
