Definetly could use a global help channel (or at least help channels with x people in each one). The rest of the stuff would be nice (I know we already have it all on EVE), but a help channel would definetly be a great addition. |

these "basic things" have no effect on gameplay and would take up time for CCP to program and implement that could be better used elsewhere...
Let them work on fixing the gameplay elements before adding any superfluous extras. |

It's sad enough that they haven't designed a game balanced for "release," but I think they should do at least a little more dignity to making it look like it's "released." This is supposed to be an MMO, an even if I'm restricted to you 31 at a time, there should be some basic way of expressing yourself socially in-game.
This could actually *help* gameplay as much as any deeper tinkering by:
-Providing a channel for getting noob questions answered. If you go to join a channel in-game in Dust, and type in 'help', it opens the channel for EVE players to get noob questions answered.
-Distributing information publicly (e.g. EVE bios that include lists of damage types or sec status
-Giving more outlets for becoming a "character" in-game
I'm not asking anyone at CCP to drop everything *right now* and spend ALL their valuable time doing only this, but it would be mighty nice if these were things that could get a little bit better, occasionally. |
