Sorry i dont want to play a game with really bad AI mechanics because the devs cannot do the game right in the 1st place

Overhyped game So, you haven't played it right? But yet your giving it criticism like this and calling the AI stupid? TLOU was worth all the hype, gameplay is fun, and the storyline and characters are great. Not to mention the MP, which seemed to be a last minute addition, is more fun than anything I've played in Dust.

Devs confirmed that the AI was dumbed down because it would make it too hard
So when sneaking the little girl gets in the way sometimes and isnt in cover the enemy AI is programmed to not notice the little girl because if it was ther would always be alerts going off
So the AI fails on 2 counts, they couldnt programme ellie to hide and as a consequence they dumbed down the enemy AI
Also as a bonus ellie runs around like a chicken with no head and gets in the way
If they can do stealth right or even programme right why bother? At least in MGS2/3 when you were escorting a 2nd chara around you could hide them and get them to stay in places and they wouldnt move an inch until you either told em or moved em |

Its like that so it doesn't turn in an escort mission.
So when the enemy AI see the girl but yet ignore her when it clearly should be a alert and the enemies should go after both of them then its working as intended? or when the girl just runs around doing what see wants getting in the way thats supposed to happen?
Sorry thats a fail game to make up for bad programming and bad AI and the dumbing down of games that is the cancer that is killing the game industry and saps like you lap it up |

Anyway, like you said, Ellie runs around like a headless chicken (Somehow you know this with your 0hrs put into the game), imagine if AI DID react to her. That would be a pain in the ass.
I'm sure those missions that in MGS where you have to direct your teammates only last a short while, imagine doing that for a whole 17hrs, congratulations though, you're the first person I've met that likes escort missions.

Ive seen a few vids of the game and ellie is a damn loony at times and it just sucks for me, it might aswell not bother having ellie in the game and just leave her in for the cutscenes
May last a short while but your in more control with MGS, in 3 i just tranq her ass since se eats so much and TLOU shouldnt last 17hrs, basically a SP game with a tacked on MP looks like a 8hr game at most
It just seem well overhyped for what it really is, may pick it up when the price drops like a ******* rock |
