Hello everyone and hello CCP.
I come to you today for a challenge for CCP, please note this is a dropship and flying vehicles thread which is meant more for pilots than tankers or proto logistic suiters.
Recently my friend and I watched a video about the new Super Hind attack gunship and all the things that they have done to bring it into the 21st century as a competent war vehicle. If we have this kind of tech now, then we should most certainly have it in new eden, let me list some of these changes that pilots not only need, but are required to make dropships (and in the future gunships) practical on the battlefield.
Stabilized sight for unobstructed target detection and tracking, range finding, and auto tracking, integrated mission system with GPS and navigation, a new chaff and flair system, ordinance dispensing, superior maneuverability etc

Now i know that we are getting a few of these, and some of these i even disagree with (auto tracking) my point is we have all of this today, My challenge to CCP is to bring the dropships into the 31st century by giving pilots and their craft the equipment and utilities that we need. thus far most of what i have wanted, they have stated they will add, namely the counter measures/chaff, early warning system, and pilot suits. However there are still a few things that needs implementation, these are what I challenge the vehicle team to make:
low slot modual for increased speed/turning rate of aerial vehicles, Integrated turret stabilization for gunners and ADS pilots, Red and Green light system attached to 'square' for troop deployment, navigation equipment i.e. altimeter, speed in m/s, throttle, A range finder for gunners so they dont mindlessly shoot at anything and everything, and last but not least increase in shield and or armor to bring it in line with the future battlefields of new eden.
As always I open this to discussion of pilots to add to this challenge anything that I might have overlooked, nothing too ridiculous though, as the goal of this challenge is not to make the dropship the end all of vehicles but rather bring them up to operational specs for dust battlefields as I think all pilots can agree they are lacking.
I know a few veteran pilots from these forums, Foxhound elite, Shouper of BHD, bojo and many others, I hope to see other veteran pilots like you, who I have seen post good ideas on these forums come and give your 2isk to the challenge.
