If you bought a PS4 and Sony was all "SURPRISE! PAY UP, HOMIE" yeah, I can see it. But they're making it clear well in advance that if you want multiplay, you have to get PS+. If you don't want to pay to play online, get a PC. Or stick with your PS3.
Or.... get a WiiU. Sorry, couldn't even type that **** with a straight face. |

What these people fail to realize is there is no way in hell it will be an optional service. The amount of cash MS makes off of the subs alone is amazing. If you have half a brain you would want it for your business, too. Especially Sony's. Which is struggling to remain profitable. They want you on PSN+.

When gadget makers and developers start raising the price of gadgets and software and start adding on special fees something is very wrong with those gadget and software makers. |

There's nothing special about the fee. The cost required to maintain these servers is not small and without some way to cover those costs it's a huge money sink. The reality of the situation is that they just can't afford to shoulder the full cost anymore. The free games and discounts they give you more than makes up for the cost. Hell even M$ is copying that for next gen |

If it upgrades the servers tobe more stability over the peer to peer BS of this console gen, I'm all for it. P2P might extend the life of games, but playing under those laggy condition could barely be called "life". |

Don't get a ps4 then if its truely that big a deal..oh no my system is $100 cheaper than the xbone but now I gota buy ps+ so I'm going to throw a ***** fit |
