here's a list of DSes that would be cool to have down the road:
support Drop ships give direct support to their side by triaging damaged vehicles and scouting out hostile positions moments before the frontlines collide, their light hauls give them the maneuverability to get from hot spot to hotspot their material used to build provides great measures of safety but fails at power storage.
Caldari Drop ships have shield transporters, Gallante have remote repair systems, Minimatar have sensors and I`m waiting for a new module for Ammar but ammo would be nice.
Spec ops DS: have a light frame that weakens their total HP but make up for it by having very low detection and speed. they don`t use turrets but use the 2 open spaces in between the doors for mercs to lay waste with their own weaponry.
I would provide stats but just want to see thoughts, I`ll put numbers on roles liked or suggested and liked role ideas and put them in feedback/requests after. |

Covert Ops: Can fit a cloaking module, very similar to how it's done in EVE. There are no side guns, but there is one forward mounted gun. These ships are very agile and responsive when not in cloak, but accelerate very slowly when cloaked; you want to come in with speed, cloak, and then maneuver into position, since once you slow down, you'll be stuck that way. Structurally they will be weaker than current dropships; balanced AV should take them out in 2, maaaaybe 3 volleys, and that's if they're tanked and not fitted for logistics.
Amarr: 10% PG reduction to MCRU per level
Gallente: 10% bonus to scan radius per level
Loldari: 10% reduction to cloak cooldown per level
Minmatar: 2% bonus to acceleration per level, 10% per level while cloaked. |
