I'm glad there's someone out there that's brainstorming, but the idea is just a bit idiotic.
SPEED is not a viable downside. Even normal Heavies can exploit one of their only weaknesses by getting in car and only getting out to kill people.
Other than that, the 'Super Heavy' has everything turned up to 110% Effectiveness. 2 Grenade slots? I'm all about having a class with more Grenade Slots (Grenadier suit, FTW...), but if they even DO make one of those, they'd make it a Medium Suit and fairly weak (Although in past builds, balancing has been a huge issue, as we know...).
As said before, it'd also take away any reason of being a normal Heavy. They fill the same role, but one has more over-all offensive slots than the other. It's like when people turn Logistics Suits into the God-Assault suit. A Heavy has never been known to carry Equipment. It's a speed burden that the Logistics has to carry. Also, a Light Weapon AND a Heavy Weapon? What's to stop the Duvolle Assault Rifle from being a new SMG?
And More powerful weapons... I think, even if they (for some reason) decide to make a 'Super Heavy', they should give it weak weapons that give a high burden to turning speed. Make it more of a DEFENSIVE Heavy, rather than the current OFFENSIVE Heavy.
Here's my idea, just modifying a couple of your things.
The overall slot count for a proto-Super Heavy would go like this:
4 Lows 5 Highs 1 [WIP Weak Heavy Weapon Name] 0 Equipment 1 Grenade (As to not take out the potential of an actual Grenadier suit class...)
This will give it more of a defensive stature, instead of the potential to be the 'Flavor of The Month'. Turn Speed/Movement Speed would be decreased to at least 1.00 slower than the heavy, so it would be discouraged from actually moving from point A to point B. It'd be unable to enter vehicles without decreasing the overall speed of the vehicle (Even a Scout LAV would be somewhat slow) because of the size of the suit. This will encourage it to stay at points and just murder anything walking towards it, although it will still have a weaker weapon (Working on new weapon type name...).
Of course, it'd still have stellar AV capabilities, able to withstand being hit by a car (Although health would drop quite a lot...). I'd also say that the creators of the suit would be smart enough to give it a bit of extra stamina (Not to much!), so if it thinks it can make it to Objective C in time, it can certainly try.
NEVER give something 0 Shield. Shield is lifeblood, once it gets down to it. Someone could just take a measly MD to this guy and kill him within a clip of rounds. I say it should vary between races. The Gallente would have maybe about 400 Shield, 600 Armor, exact opposite with Caldari, Amarrian would be balanced (500 each), and the Minmatar would favor shield, but not quite as much.
Well, I'm starting to lose focus (As I do sometimes...), so I'll get back to this. Ghost, away! :D |

Sorry, but MTAC is mentioned a lot. What exactly is this? All I got was something about a holster, which means nothing to me, currently... :P
Master, why does the HMG need a faster Spin-Up time? I don't really notice that sort of thing, but the shooting starts almost instantly for me. |
