I posted this several builds ago (who knows where it is) but here goes again.
Swarm launchers should get 1 new variant (breach), and a redo of the assault variant Currently, the assault variant is completely useless, because locking onto 2 targets at once just is.
Instead, there should be 2 new types.
Currently, regular swarm launchers do 330 damage per missile. STD has 4 missiles (1320) damage), ADV 5 (1650), and PRO 6 (1980)
The new assault swarm launchers will focus on increasing missiles per swarm At 220 damage per missile STD has 6 missiles (1320), ADV 7 (1540), and PRO 8 (1760) As you can see, there's a slight damage decrease, but a much higher chance to hit
Lastly, Breach swarm launchers will do more damage per missile, as to be more effective when you're sure to hit At 700 damage per missile STD has 2 missiles (1400) ADV 3 (2100), and PRO 4 (2800) This leaves a massive damage increase, but having a missile miss the target would drastically decrease total damage.

My defense is lowering the damage would make it too weak at STD level.
I think it should be fine because in my experience, it isn't often that every swarm in the volley hits. |
